So many skills to emulate here. So many things to learn from one video. It doesn't matter what he was making, though that's great as well. I've never seen such care taken with the everyday items he's making. Truly this is an art film, a documentary, a safety video, and an entertainment all in one.

Hi there and thank you for your very kind comment! I think I'm that way from watching my dad as a youngster. He was, and still is really fussy no matter what he's doing, so I watched and learned as time went on. I'm grateful you enjoyed my build and the video and thanks so much again! I'm looking forward to sharing more with you! Tell then, All the best!

Brilliant. Lived in Port Townsend, Washington and plan on joining you in Van Isle when I retire in a few years. Perhaps by then you can hire a shop hand. In the meantime, I'm working on your original workbench - sans miter saw - and would love to build a separate miter saw station. Do you have plans available/for sale for your ultimate miter saw station?

You will have to come out of retirement when I hire you up here ahaha :) Thank you for choosing my workbench plan and I hope you are enjoying your build! In hindsight, I should have thought about creating plans for the miter saw station and recording the build, but alas, I am without unfortunately. If you are interested in how I build it, I can send some dimensions and photos your way. My email is paul2011850@gmail.com

The "Look mom i'm using one hand and this is the first time I've ever used this new router" stunt was wicked. Question. Why did that creepy black glove show up on your hand for a few frames? Was that really you, or was it a stunt double? Or was it, as I fear, something only I saw? JIM
