That has got to be the sharpest tool pegboard I’ve ever seen not to mention how easy it goes up and snaps together and can be taken down and will be a lifetime of use. How smart of an investment is this. I want to show this to my sons… Although I suspect my ones in already knows about it he is so into tools. I learned so much from your videos ❣️❣️God bless you♥️♥️
PS~ I was just reminded by something else you were saying on the video… my father always said, “ If you’re going to use a tool, Put it back when you’re done with it EXACTLY WHERE IT CAME FROM”
Looks like a great system. My children walk off with tools, which I have no idea why...It's like scissors and tape measures they all must be with the lost socks. 💖🎶
Everything has a place, every place has a thing I have work zones, wood, metal, auto. Each zone has tools dedicated to that zone even if they are redundant. Saves a lot of walking and makes putting them away easier
JudithB I love that system!! I put up the old style peg board in my barn, and was very happy with it, until--- the humidity made the peg board warp, and the pegs fell out, then the cats arrived. They climb on everything and knock stuff off constantly. I have been trying to get the whole barn re-organized for 5 yrs now, and never make it to the tool area and its a disaster. Someone built a shelf unit with a door for nails and screws, so I built one and it has made such a difference. I hope to work on the barn more this winter so it is easier to store and use it!!!
I have a set from Harbor Freight that is inexpensive and they work great for the pin removals - PITTSBURGH AUTOMOTIVE Nylon Pry Bar Installer Kit, 4 Piece
What helps me to stay organized is: „Every tool has its home to sleep at.“ If you put a tool somewhere it doesn‘t belong you remember that little sentence and but it back. That got me in a habit putting everything back where it belongs.
That's a great looking peg board set up and easily installed and will last longer than regular peg board. Really enjoyed the video Evan. Thanks for sharing. Fred.
I don't buy that story that you are the "most unorganized guy there is". From what I can see, you are very well organized and like everything nice and neat around the hoimestead. I like that,
In the mid 80's I set up two walls of my basement wood shop with the old style peg board. I absolutely loved having all my tools visible and easy to find. It seemed like perfection in ideas. For about 90 days. I know it's not the sort of thing that would bother some but the continual layer of dust that would perpetually build up on each item drove me crazy. I had to wipe each item off for a couple of minutes every time I wanted to use it. If I ever do it again the pegs will be enclosed behind glass doors or possibly behind wood doors. I do stained glass as a hobby so I might incorporate that into the doors.
Like you said you spend more time looking for things! I know how that is! I think you will really value having what you need close by! Good Luck and it Looks Awesome!! Have a Great Evening!! 😀🌹❤
I really like this system, great way to organize and keep track of things, everything in its place !! Another channel has them in their kitchen, I wasn’t sure about that, but it sure works for them, spices on shelves, cooking utensils, pot holders, towels. I was impressed 👍
I was the same way, always looking for the tool I needed or buying one and finding out later that I already had one, or more. lol I got in the habit of putting things back where I got them, and it made life much less frustrating. I currently use peg board (would like to switch to something like this though) and cut smaller sections of it and put it behind or next to my woodworking tools... one next to my bandsaw to hang different sized blades, one next to my router table with a special homemade shelf for my bits, for the table saw for fences and jigs...
When using the old style hooks put a dab of hot glue on them to prevent them from being knocked off. This way if you want them off later just use a plastic putty knife to pop them loose. Also cheap magnetic hooks from Walmart or HF work good to stick stuff where ever you want on this system.
Hi Evan from New Zealand. That system looks great. I'm currently searching for my secateurs ... I have two pair, but can't find either. I think I'll go online & see what's available in New Zealand.
Evan, I work in the hardware/fastener industry and they do make simple snap in locks to secure tradional peg board hooks to the pegboards. Great system and a well organized shop is a easier shop to work in, for sure!
I’m sure someone might have already mentioned this but if you put a work bench in front of that wall set up you might have a tuff time reaching the items mounted up high. Depending on the depth of the work bench you put in front of it. Just something to think about. It looks great! Now I need one🙄👍
Could you use short hex head screws to hold the different implement holders in place instead of the plastic ones? They would be easier to remove to rearrange placement.
I know what you are talking about that tools get moved around. My husband set me up a big tool box in the house for me to have a set of tools for the house. Funny how mine have disappeared and he has more than enough out in his shed now. Even my Black and Decker battery tools end up out there next to his Dewalts. Hmmmm LOL
I wish as a younger man I would have built the shop you are making for yourself, when ever I watch you videos I always marvel at how organized all you stuff is, you are definitely winning the I've got stuff sweepstakes.
I've tried to use pegboard several times over the years but never got what I wanted. This looks like a good system but I still have ventured away from the pegboard. I bought a very large Craftsman toolbox when they still had them. They are actually manufactured by Waterloo and mine has held up very well. 51" wide and 30" deep by 72" high. Each drawer is larger than the standard 29" by 18" toolbox itself and there is room for everything to be very visible and I can see if something is missing. A smaller roll around cart holds tools for when I'm away from the main box. I would still like to have one of the old tool walls like you see in pictures of old garages and I may build one to hold old tools I am collecting. It appears your system is going to work out for you and I hope you can put up satellites near things like your drill press like you mentioned and I have done that also. jack
Ive split my tools into primary use, secondary use and seldom use. The primary and some secondary use hand tool are on my tool wall. Secondary tools are inside easy reach drawers seldom used items are on shelves or bins. So far this system hasworked out great. I opted for magnet strips on my tool wall.
I would suggest you get some bright coloured paint and put a bit behind each tool, when the tool is hung up it covers the paint but when the tool is removed the paint stands out indicating that you need to find a lost tool. You will always be reminded to put the tools away.
You've made nearly 350 comments on Evans channel, that's awesome. I wonder how much bigger his channel would be if everyone that viewed would comment that much. I hope one day I've made that many comments on his channel. Keep up the good work
That really looks great Evan, love what your doing with your workshop. I don't have one, but if I did I would love to fix it up like your doing. Your plan to organize your tools in the needed or necessary locations is a good one, I like it. Nice video, great job and thanks for sharing. Have a great week, what's left of it.
I have yet to find a wall system that I'm willing to buy into. I'm very much a tool box man. Fastidious aerospace storage type. I can tell in an instant if something is missing. I put tools away at the end of the day... even if the job is not done. It's a zen type thing. The work is done for today. Acknowledge the work, thank the work. Then tomorrow. Greet the work, accept the work, begin the work.
Looks great. I think you made the right decision but, the key is putting items back in place after each use. Lol. Looks a lot nicer than the old white pegboard my dad used when I was growing up.
I like being able to see my tools as well Evan. Even if you know the exact drawer something is in it still usually takes a while to find it once you're in there. I think you will be happy with your new setup. Thanks for sharing it.
I could see using one in a basement but for me in my building i will stick with the 2 big roll around tool boxes and my one of my work benches has drawers and other end has a door for my Paslod nailers.
Looks great Evan. Thanks for sharing
Holy cow, smarty pants, that peg board is slick. I wont one.
I know, me too
I like the personal touch and about not being organized and your mindset for solving it.

Wishing you good luck keeping your stuff in it's right place .
Cant beat black n silver. Nice Modern style/look
PS~ I was just reminded by something else you were saying on the video… my father always said, “
If you’re going to use a tool, Put it back when you’re done with it EXACTLY WHERE IT CAME FROM”
Trust me you are far from the least organized person. It is enjoyable to watch you put your shop together
Looks like a great system. My children walk off with tools, which I have no idea why...It's like scissors and tape measures they all must be with the lost socks. 💖🎶
That reminds me of what my dad says about me and my younger brother 🤣.
@@teenagefarmer 🤣
That looks amazing!
Thats exactly what I need.
Everything has a place, every place has a thing
I have work zones, wood, metal, auto. Each zone has tools dedicated to that zone even if they are redundant. Saves a lot of walking and makes putting them away easier
Having your tools where you use them is the best! Even to the point of having duplicate tools. Thanks for the video, I hadn't seen this system.
JudithB I love that system!! I put up the old style peg board in my barn, and was very happy with it, until--- the humidity made the peg board warp, and the pegs fell out, then the cats arrived. What a great looking system . Hopes it will work for you as want it to.
It sure looks good!!!
Awesome set up! Thank you for the thoughtful feedback!
Thanks. If you want to work together, let me know. I could always use more omniwall panels. 👍
Looks great! I’ve been looking to do a pegboard system in our garage.
Looking great, Steve from N.B

Evan, I enjoy watching your videos. Look forward to every Friday. Thanks

Two of my favorite colors gray and black
I love that looks good on the wall
Hello Evan looks great I'm going to get also. Have a great day.
In the mid 80's I set up two walls of my basement wood shop with the old style peg board. I absolutely loved having all my tools visible and easy to find. It seemed like perfection in ideas. What a fab system. Now staying organised is something else again (trust me)
I just love how it goes with the color of your hair lol
Great system. You can put wrenches on it but can you put spanners on it. All the best 🇬🇧.
Like you said you spend more time looking for things! I know how that is! I think you will really value having what you need close by! Good Luck and it Looks Awesome!! Have a Great Evening!! 😀🌹❤
Form and function…nice!
I put zip ties on my putty knives and utility knives to hang them....works great to hang them on ur latter too when using them.
Smart looking tool wall! Love your channel.
It looks so good😊
I really like this system, great way to organize and keep track of things, everything in its place !!
Another channel has them in their kitchen, I wasn’t sure about that, but it sure works for them, spices on shelves, cooking utensils, pot holders, towels. I was impressed 👍
Man I really like that system. Thanks for sharing!
I love my metal pegboards. Seeing all your tools looks fantastic and keeps you organized. Your workshop is really coming together and looks fantastic!
Laughable-

You really need a grommet in the hole the cords go through! Nice looking system though.
Evan, you’ve got it all figured out. It looks great and I’m jealous…..wish I had done something like what you are doing. Take care!
Looks great, Evan! I may check that system out.
Nice tool storage.
I wreckon you did this company 1 year’s worth of marketing in 20 minutes. 👍
Hi Evan from New Zealand. That system looks great. I'm currently searching for my secateurs ... I have two pair, but can't find either. I think I'll go online & see what's available in New Zealand.
Really looks nice

Can you share some example of the snap in locks? Sounds interesting.
Looks great but i missing a work table a great one whit a vice,so a table where you can work on ,but it looks good.
The man had some skills !!
Evan, just know, I'll be looking for that pegboard in every video. I'll probably even pause the video and compare from past videos! :)
Looks great brother 🤙
The pegboard system looks really sharp w/ your wood & metal walls! Next house I will definitely set my shop up with better storage. ;)
Wow. Super organized!
Looks good.
It looks great Evan, good work
Garage is turning out nice! The galvanized metal is a great look.
I’m sure someone might have already mentioned this but if you put a work bench in front of that wall set up you might have a tuff time reaching the items mounted up high. Depending on the depth of the work bench you put in front of it. Just something to think about. It looks great! Now I need one🙄👍
That looks really good! Well done, another great job 👍
Very nice well organized set up
Could you use short hex head screws to hold the different implement holders in place instead of the plastic ones? They would be easier to remove to rearrange placement.
Get while you can !
We can't wait to get a workshop built!! Thanks for all you do!!!
Love the peg board really nice!
The drill bits work well in drill as they don’t slip in the drill bit

I see OmniWall Christmas presents in your future. 😁
looks good!!
I wish as a younger man I would have built the shop you are making for yourself, when ever I watch you videos I always marvel at how organized all you stuff is, you are definitely winning the I've got stuff sweepstakes.
...the shop is coming along nicely, looks great, keep safe..
Hope omniwall send you some goodies
Great job, Evan. Workshop is coming together nicely.

What does it look like after a month of use?
Looks good !
Your work shop sure is coming together 😀
Great job !
I like it
yeah i had peg board......slat wall....french cleats.....magnets......none of it works with a busy workshop lol
Nice system
I would suggest you get some bright coloured paint and put a bit behind each tool, when the tool is hung up it covers the paint but when the tool is removed the paint stands out indicating that you need to find a lost tool. You will always be reminded to put the tools away.
That's a good idea
Evan good video. I need something too. My problem is I love getting tools out to work on a project but hate putting things back. I do not know why.
I'm the same way 🤣
Pretty 😍 cool
It looks really nice. Right now 😂 Sounded like you were giving yourself a pep talk on organization. I'm happy for you
You've made nearly 350 comments on Evans channel, that's awesome. I wonder how much bigger his channel would be if everyone that viewed would comment that much. I hope one day I've made that many comments on his channel. Keep up the good work

Well done Evan 👍Looks good even from this far in Australia 😂

Even u have the same speaker I have
Looks great!!! Did you get my msg?
How much did you invest in the peg board and attachments? Thinking I might want to do that as well. Thanks
Looks great! Probably get me one of those.
Where is the postcode system saying you can’t find that one in the UK It is only available in the US it’s a shame
Wowza! Looks fantastic. It may come in handy in your basement too. 👍👍
I could see using one in a basement but for me in my building i will stick with the 2 big roll around tool boxes and my one of my work benches has drawers and other end has a door for my Paslod nailers.
Looks great. Also, you have the space to create different work areas. Over time I’m sure it will come together.
