I never get tired of going off road in the snow. I made a snow trip to a familiar trail in the WV mountains a few weeks ago, and it's amazing how snow can change a trail from being just a nice scenic ride into a bona fide adventure.
I like watching the snow videos.)))))
Always be cautious around iceholes, of course only a problem when it gets too peopley 😉😂

As much as I complain about the cold and the snow, I really love it. Everything is so much prettier in the snow! And snow camping after a day on snowy trails is awesome.

What an awesome video. The OZARKS are just a truly special place. Every place has its own level of beauty but the OZARKS are just a different experience that will keep you coming back to explore more.
It's amazing how the much the snow changes things. From the sound of the rolling tires, to the quietness that seems to envelop everything. It makes things you've seen before look so different and new. Also, the drone piloting at Bub's was first class.

I’m here in Memphis not far from the ozarks. It snowed seven or eight inches last Sunday night into Monday. It’s just now getting above freezing. The snow turned to ice and is still on the roads.One night a few days ago it was 0 degrees.We enjoyed the rare snow but it’s worn out it’s welcome.

It was pretty funny Monday seeing everyone out in their jeeps and trucks and here I come and pass them in my Freyaldenhoven van. Never had an issue. Went all the way up to Cleveland by Brock creek for a service call and never had an issue. I also weigh 10,000lbs so that probably helped a lot

You got our snow! We have only 2 - 3 inches in Southern Québec. A this time of the years it’s supposed to be double of what you have at -20C. You ça keep it 😁

Did y'all speak with the guy staying at Haw Creek? We gave him some fuel to help him through that nasty weather. By the time we showed up at Car Wash Falls it was a frozen pillar. We had to back out of there with traction boards since the road was a solid sheet of ice.
I’m so glad you do challenging trails! There are a lot of TH-camrs out there that I enjoy watching, but over the years they have resorted to many times just dirt roads.

You've got more snow there than we do in Minnesota. We haven't even gotten enough snow to take out the snowmobiles on the trails. We got a snow dusting that lasted about a week and now it's back in the 30 degree range. 😢

How much snow is a lot of snow depends entirely upon what your local infrastructure is prepared for. And that includes your vehicles.

Cool you went in by Rosetta cemetery & down to Buds cabin, I was curious how the snow was on that trail everything has frozen since Monday , that would be a slick ride today but fun. That’s why I carry tire chains don’t have to worry about ice or snow.

Ever had a problem with the Rugged Ridge AMFIB Snorkel sucking up too much water in the JT when it’s raining hard? I am using low mount because I’m not sure how safe high mount is.
Not at all. That can’t happen. They wouldn’t make them if they could suck in rain water.

Hey Matt! Off topic question. I’ve been having a problem that i thought you might be able to help me with. I’m running a small fridge through an eco flow river. When plug the river into the truck 12V it kills the battery and causes power steering issues. I replaced the original battery [only 15k miles)but the 2nd one did the same thing. Any thoughts? I always thought you could charge the power station from the battery while driving. Any help is appreciated.
Are you running the diesel or gas engine? And why did you choose that one?
Nice video, but I think the white balance must be out of whack on all of your cameras because all the greenery looks all white and blown out :p

Like the shorter format. Quit watching when the videos get much longer than 20 minutes. Ozarks in the snow is beautiful.
I'll never understand why people would rather watch a 100 15 second for 6 hours but can't commit to something over 20 minutes. Shit attentionspan
Shorter format videos are fun to watch. Matt does a really good job of giving his audience a good mix of shorter and longer videos.
My wife and I like longer videos sometimes to sit and watch like a short TV episode.
I understand most people people don't have the patience for long video's. I myself try to offer a little of both. However on a full day run when there's so much beauty it's hard to want to cut some if that out. I believe in taking people on an adventure and your either along for the ride or not. Myself i make videos that i personally like for me and if others wanna go for the ride then great and if not then 🤷🏻♂️
Longer videos are better for the TH-cam algorithm. I am sure that is why he mixes it up. Kevin on Lifestyle Overland said his movies (several videos all put together) get a lot of TH-cam hits. Ya gotta do what you got to do to keep your business going. And you mix it up also to varied preferences. People are all different.
People used to be able to watch a half hour TV show with commercials or a movie that's over a hour long. 🙄
