  • I've learned alot since making this video! i no longer use the Hex bolts to affix the leather to the frame, i use hand hammered copper rivets. It took me a while to figure out how to do this without damaging the tooling i do to the leather. Things have come a long way, please do visit my website and Instagram to see the latest creations. I am happy to make a saddle for you with your logo or design, they run around $200. Get Intouch))) www.obsidianmonarch.com and follow us on Instagram at: obsidianmonarch. thank you for your time! please LIKE and share if you like what we are up to! thank you)))) PS- i also hang new leather on old torn brooks bicycle saddle frames so if you have one in rough shape hit me up, i can hang a new leather , buy the old frame from you or give you credit towards a custom saddle!

Great work! How long did you soak it (hot water??) and how long did it take to air dry(heat gun/ blowdryer)??

Amazing work! Im wondering what's the thickness of the leather and the name of liquid you soaked it in? Im thinking about re doing leather on my 1920s bicycle seat. It has same type of thick leather with rivets holding it to frame like yours does. I would need to do some similar bends as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
