Some biologics effects the psyche. Some of the people can have Depression or bad thoughts because of biologics. It depends on which biologic you take and it is also different from one person to another. It‘s not a must but it can. Just speaking from my own experience with 4 different biologics.

Interesting I’ve never heard of that before. Can I ask what’s biologics and what amount of time you’ve been on them? I think the thing is that many things contribute to our mood so it’s hard to decipher what contributing to what

Guselkumab / Tremfya is called in Europe.
      Just google about Adalimumab:
Patients undergoing treatment with an anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) agent can, as an adverse event, develop anti-TNF-α-induced lupus (ATIL). Neuropsychiatric symptoms such as depression and suicidal ideations are not commonly seen in patients who develop ATIL. We describe a case of a 56-year-old female who developed ATIL and suicidal ideations while on Adalimumab.

For me adalimumab worked good until the effect was gone and had to try other 3 different biologics in 2 years. Some people make good and longterm experience with biologics. But not everyone. So now i just inject methotrexat after two years trying different biologics. For me they worked but just for a few days after the injection, and after some months they didnt worked anymore. I have psoriatic Arthritis and i am 40 years old.

@@liftingoutofthelows1341 i had to inject every 2 weeks. After the injection i was complete free from pain and stiffness for 4-5 days. after 4 month the effect was gone and had to change the biologic. The rheumatologist explained to me that biologics does not work for everyone cause the body can produce antibodies against the biologic.
My eyperience with different biologics was that they can affect the psyche and the cardiovascular system to some people. The cardiologist know about that, but the rheumatologist dont want to see that or to accept this adverse effects.
