- Influencer and alternative model Cervena has 1.6 million followers on Facebook and looks anything but traditional. However, her dream is to find a traditional, princess dress for her wedding - something her entourage strongly disagrees with.

The bride and her fiancé travel the world together and run a tattoo business ( big dollars !) so I don’t think they are of modest means ….mum did say she would stretch a bit , 10% over isn’t bad , I’ve seen him show dresses double the budget !
I love the idea of a bride with several tattoos in a very simple elegant dress. It really makes her and her art standout. Absolutely Stunning.

David just makes me sick..." we like stretch". Yes we're all well aware of that David. Whether the bride can afford it or not. The bride gives her budget and immediately is always asked if they can go over.
I hate how this company pushes clients to go beyond their budget. And how cynical they enquired if the budget can be stretched it.

I've worked in this business for 35 years, to put someone in a dress OVER budget is the most REPULSIVE thing EVER. Especially in this sense, wanting a dress that hurts the pocketbook, but what do you do? Struggle to make other's happy & suppliment SOMEONE else's commission. How can one even sleep at night KNOWING they did that??? All about GREED OVER HUMANITY.
It just seems so lazy! Like. Part of the job is working with the budget. Maybe you have an idea of a dress that’s over the budget, but your job is to get creative and find something in the budget. Otherwise people could just shop themselves.

I personally don't see a problem going a mere $350 over budget for the Bride's dream dress, when it could easily be made up on cutting down on a couple less guests and a few less flowers.🤷♀️
A traditional gown is one of the ways she can easily reinforce how different she is.
I don't always cry for brides when they find their dress but she looks absolutely lovely.

This dress does look beautiful and the extra £400 ish isn’t WAY over, but if you want a Cathedral length veil, you could easily add another £1500 plus to the price tag and don’t get me started on alterations 😱.
Daughter works and should pay for the veil & contribute towards alterations. The dress does fit her like a glove, so I don't see it being that much.

For real? Why would you show her a dress over her budget when you know that there's other dresses like that within her budget? If there's not then I think that says something about the store.
In this case, she has a million followers, I think she can swing $300. Besides, I bet the show uses fake budgets to create drama.
@@L.Spencer yeah you're right 300 is probably not that much to her but for some people who it takes a long time to make $300; it's important to respect the budget.
I am totally Not tattoo person. Setting that aside, I love how this gorgeous bride (look at those face bones!) finds a dress which becomes the canvass for her tattoos. WoW!

When dresses go over budget the brides need to pay the difference. It really cant be up to the parents - its completely unfair. Especially a girl who is earning a lot over her social media following.

The first one was far more flattering. Entourage gives the impression that “alternative”=rude and snarky.
She didn’t buy this dress and used a mermaid dress pretty similar to this one that cost £1,400 according to her FB page.
A colourful or highly detailed dress wouldn't likely go well with highly tatooed brides in my opinion; the dress and the tats would compete for attention and thus clash. Ironically, a simpler dress detail-wise works perfectly for highlighting the tatoos and her colourful hair. 100% love her pick. :)

I must be very old (fashioned lol) because I have never seen a traditional dress that was strapless. It seems to me that 90% of Kleinfeld’s stock must be strapless so more fool me. As a second thought … could you see the $$$ signs in the poor mother’s eyes when they added the veil?

The ink distracts but she sure is pretty. Liked dress #1 on her best. However, the veil on #2 is lovely.
Such a stunning bride. But for my opinion, the ink distracts. It’s very difficult to get past all that in order to see the dress.

The question is: what is "alternative fashion"? Leather, chains, BDSM wear, etc.
Alternative models showcase fashion that considered alternative (metal, goth, rockabilly etc). Often alternative models have dyed hair, tattoos and piercings, just like the potential customers might have.
@@KarleneE don’t just assume bdsm wear is in all alt fashion. It’s an individuals choice weather they would to wear that or not.

At least the dress looks beautiful as usually on this show the dresses are not only over budget but they’re also normally unflattering and ill-fitting on the bride as well. I had stopped watching as I couldn’t stand that they always picked dresses that didn’t suit the brides shape or figure.
Wedding gown samples are typically a size 6-12 (street clithes size 2-8) made for 5'11" 110 women with little to no curves. Of course dresses are not going to fit flatteringly in most cases.
Normally I don't like white dresses at all but I think the first bride with her hair and tattoos white is the only way to go.
She should have chosen the first dress £1,700 if the problem was the cost. The one she bought for her wedding £1,400 was in no way as beautiful as any of these two dresses.
