I was 35 when I got married. I always told myself I was only going to do this once. I was scared "shickless" and literally cried throughout the ceremony. 33 years married and 38 years together, we're still going strong and are doing our "happily ever after". I wish you all the same happy ending.
I was 19 my husband was 24 we have been married for 42 years ! We have been through so much together! Raising children , while having two types cancer and a heart attack all most losing my husband to a terrible accident and all the misfortune we experienced started when I was 38 ! We just seem to grow stronger together and I realize that young woman who got married that day never truly realized how much she loved that young man and how much he really loves me ! And with all the hardships we faced together just made us stronger ! I can honestly say I have had a blessed life
Same. The third one looked so much better on her overall. But perhaps the sleeves and illusion didn’t feel right. But as long as she got the one she loved that’s all that matters.
I thought she said “yes” to #3? I had to go back and look. She looked beautiful in both, so whatever makes her happy! Love Jo and Al! Wish they were in the States!
I'd have LOVED a silver wedding dress! I'm surprised you don't see them more often to be honest as not everyone wants white or ivory and this is just an extra step away.
I always find myself smiling like a fool when y’all show the bride right through with her wedding. Your intuition of what the bride needs at the boutique and prior to the ceremony is spot on. You provide a wonderful service. ❤😊
Two very special ladies showing the true beauty in every women that enters their shop. This world is a beautiful and better place to live in. Thank you for your great support of all who meet them!!!
I would really like to see them with a brand NEW season..... they BOTH are amazing!! The love in their hearts for brides is their TRADEMARK of success!!!!!! Thank you from South Africa
I love love love the matching white tops that Jo and Al are wearing in this episode. Those 2 are so terrific anyway, but they are stunners today. I am just riveted to this series because of them and the way they treat the brides so special and w/ respect. I think they could have an offsite event that we would buy tickets to where we could all try on dresses and have a bridal fashion show. Like a weekend or something and we would all just laugh laugh laugh OK K
Awww ,very rare I shed a tear, but I did for Adam and Pippa .Could feel their nerves through the screen ,.Pippa, you looked beautiful and I LoVed how proud Adam was. Wishing you many happy years together ❤️ ❤️
Ah! The bride and groom at the end! I love these clips. When I got married in 1998 in the U.S., there were barely any options for plus sizes. I looked fine, but I didn't feel beautiful and there were no compliments for me. I wish I could do it all again and feel so wonderful this time. :)
Why not renew your vows on your 25th Anniversary? That would be next year in 2023, right? Gives you a few months to plan and perhaps choose another dress, whether a simple style or whatever (wedding dresses can also be rented!). Congratulations to you and your husband on your long married life together.
I live in the US and got married in 1990. I was a size 16 at the time and I was shocked at how rude the salesperson was basically telling me that I was too fat for their dresses as they only had samples up to size 8-10 tops. It was the only bridal shop that carried the dresses I had fallen in love with and it came in white, ivory, a pale pale pink and in a very light blue which I really wanted to see. I was willing to pay extra to get it in my size, but she said that they didn’t make them in my size and basically refused to take my measurements and check with the designer and company who made the dress. I left in tears and was so angry and hurt because I had driven over 6 hours to visit the bridal shop. It was in a very metropolitan area near Washington DC not far from where I used to live before my parents sold our childhood home and moved to the opposite side of the state to an area that is extremely country and southern and very far behind the times with regards to fashion. I didn’t realize how hard it was to even find a bridal shop that carried larger sizes and when you found one the options were extremely limited and not what I had pictured my wedding dress would look like. Even in the store where I found a dress the sales consultant was rude and kept saying that I needed to order my dress in a size 22 which was 4 sizes larger than what I wore and I hate tight clothes which was why I wore an 16 to avoid anything to tight. After she wrote up my order she changed the size to a size 22. Needless to say when I went for my first fitting it was huge and didn’t fit me at all. I am shortwaisted and needed to have the sleeve and bodice taken in a good 3-4 inches because the sleeves kept falling off my shoulders and I was constantly having to pull up the bodice because to much cleavage and possible wardrobe malfunction was likely to happen and totally inappropriate for a church wedding. I am also 5’8” which affects the length of the dress and where different parts hit my body could be different from how the designer intended it to look. I was very disappointed with my dress and the seamstress didn’t do all of the alterations I had requested, but there was nothing I could do about it as I had paid for it myself and we didn’t have time to order a different dress from a different store even if we could have found one. My husband and I had talked about doing a vow renewal at our 25th wedding anniversary, but my health at the time was extremely fragile because I was battling spinal cord injuries, breast cancer and endometrial cancer and all of the various medications had caused me to gain a lot of weight so there was no way I would find my dream dress. Plus we had lost my mother a few years before and frankly too much was going on as I struggled to get through the day while also dealing and our daughter ‘s health issues brought on by my health issues and the fact that I had very nearly escaped dying 6 different times. We have been married for 31 years and we have been through so many challenges and hurdles and thankfully God has stepped in and brought the right people into my life when I needed them most. Our anniversary is right before Christmas and we will celebrate 32 years of marriage.
@@meiraloraduncan8953 Wow...what a lot you, your husband and daughter have been through...Your hubby is very caring and must have been so worried for both "his girls" at those difficult times. I know he's a caring man because you've been together and he has stayed for the whole length of your marriage, because he loves you. Believe it or not, some husbands turn out to be utterly selfish and simply walk away in similar situations - not yours tho'. It may be a bittersweet memory when you think about your wedding dress, but all your husband would have seen is his beautiful Bride walking towards him. Congratulations on a long, happy marriage despite everything. 💕
I can totally relate with you. I got married here in the US in 1991 as a plus size bride. There was absolutely, very little choices for someone of my size. I really didn't love my dress at all, but I didn't have any other choices. We really have come a long way in plus size fashion, since those days.
I really like the way these two ladies work with their clients. Every dress they show a bride is closer to the perfect one, because they listen to their. Liens. Amazing.
Jo and Al. What a team!!!! If I were young, and getting married, despite what size I was, I'd fly over to England just to meet these two phenomenal women for inspiration and empowerment!!! You're the BEST!!!! May God Continue to Bless You Both for the good work you do, and touching the lives of others.❤
Adam and Pipa were too adorable together. I think the groom was more nervous then his beautiful princess if that's possible! Great venue love that our show host ladies showed up and made their day that much more special! Long live real love 💕 and the wonderful wedding planners in every aspect from the dress to the catering music and serving! The first bride? I thought that silver dress was absolutely stunning. The dress she ended up picking was also amazing. However, every time I looked at her I kept saying to myself: oh honey, don't wear white lipstick.
I love how supportive these amazing consultants are. The first bride is bubbling with joy she's very beautiful. So nice to see all the love and support from her family 👌
I LOVE how Jo and Al are coordinating outfits!!!!! ADORABLE!!!! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE when we get so see glimpses of the bride the day of. They are so sweet together!
I love it when they come out and I'm thinking, oh this is it! And then the bride lights up and the entourage lights up and we all go.. yeah, this is it. ❤️
Jo and Al, you two are really really great. I can't think of better people to have by you side than both of you. Pippa is really beautiful. She stood taller because you were there. That added to her beauty. She seems to have a good personality too. I believe Pippa could model.
Poor Pippa & Adam. The nerves really got to them both. So glad they got through it without any "problem" like fainting, throwing up, etc. They looked lovely. Pippa looked beautiful once she started smiling. I'm sure their wedding photos have plenty of smiles & show how happy they were once their nerves calmed down.
I need Jo and AL to be my best friends!! They're amazing. Nick you're stunning!! I absolutely love your laugh!! Your dress is as beautiful as you are!!
This gorgeous lady looks better in the mesh top dress than anyone else I have seen try it on ….I actually liked that one best but she looked amazing in the dress she chose even though it isn’t the one she said yes to in the showroom.
Just had a better look .. they look nothing alike . Goes to show I focus on the dresses and flowers ( I’m a florist ) more than the people…. Both beautiful ladies but they look very different.
After a hard day I like to watch one of those videos, they are just so positive, I always feel better after watching it, so Much hope, support, understanding, and genuine care for other People ❤️
That couple was so scared and it saddens they didn't get to enjoy the moment. He could't even turn around and watch her walk down the aisle. The way the groom looked at the bride was just beautiful 🥲😭
I wasn't sure if he was going to cry or faint. So sweet.
I crying too..how he reacts- that's the right thing!
I thought he was going to pass out. They both were deep breathing through the ceremony.
I agree. He definitely was in love!
They are sooo cute. Their mutual terror was so adorable. They are very similar.
I wish them a happy, long and blessed life together.
Their synchronised deep breaths were hilariously sweet.
I just adore Jo and Al...by far two of the world's most special people. Their passion and devotion is above and beyond caring. 🙏👏👍
Well to each their own, but she was STUNNING in the 3rd dress! Jo and Al are the best, always propping up their brides and making dreams come true!
I agree thought she would have chosen that one. Maybe in person the one she choose looked better on her.

And Gok. I want to put them in my pocket to advise me shopping.
