Dénia, Spain First Impressions - Tapas, Old Town & Castle Tour

We made it to Dénia! In this episode, we take you to eat tapas in Old Town, hike up to the Castle, and tour around the marina. This nice port town in Spain has it all. The tapas are delicious, the old town is charming and the Castle has a cool history, a cool tunnel underneath, and amazing views from the top. Our first impressions of Dénia were great and we really loved this smaller seaside town for its awesome vibe and no shortage of things to see and do. As most places in Spain, there was no shortage of great wine and delicious tapas!

Mmmm.. that pork tapa sammy with the pepper sauce. I can't believe how reasonably priced the whole meal was. That glass of wine in Canada would have cost you 20 bucks.

Yes, we are going to have sticker shock when we get back to Canada! Every meal we had with wine, cost less than our wine would have cost in Canada! Lol.

Dénia was never on our radar either! We are so glad that we went. Really gorgeous and also a great spot if you want to day trip to Valencia or south to Calpe or Altea!! Or to the islands. But also a great town in its own ❤️. Thanks for watching Lori! Cheers!

Hi there! Thanks so much for watching! e purchased the van, but it is actually back in Canada (where we bought it). That is our canadian summer home! We live in Airbnbs when we are travelling abroad. We have looked into shipping the van to Europe. It is possible, on a container ship!! It costs around $3-5K and can take up to a month. Maybe something we will do in the future!
