  • We are in Kuala Lumpur and we show you what and where to eat in this capital City! Where to eat when there is so much street food in Kuala Lumpur? We will show you as we go on a food tour and eat all of the Kuala Lumpur must-haves while in the city. We begin in the Chow Kit market with fresh produce, seafood and meat and then are introduced to the best things to eat while in Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur is a huge, capital city that offers everything your tastebuds need to experience while in the city! From Nasi Lemak to Cendol, we even try some Durian on this excursion! Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia in general, offers the best of Malay, Chinese, Indonesian, Indian, Middle Eastern cuisine and more . It is truly a multicultural city and the food scene represents this melting pot of cultures. Our food tour introduced us to the most popular and also most unique tastes of Malaysia that we may not have otherwise tried. We love a food tour to get us out of our comfort zone!! Although we didn't love everything that we tried, we still tried it and are happy that we did!
    We hope that this video guides you if you are planning a trip to Kuala Lumpur or otherwise entertains and informs you of the delicious food that Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia in general has to offer. We will be bringing you more videos from Kuala Lumpur, as our month is just beginning, so we hope you follow along for more! Cheers! 🥂

    • @fahiruzrazali
      @fahiruzrazali 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Most durians sold in the west were from Thailand. They're plucked while they're still unriped, then frozen for transport and left to "rot" for weeks. Doesn't do justice to the actual durian taste which gives it the bad reputation.
      Malaysian durians are freshly picked once they're ripe enough and fell to the ground, picked and sold the next day to ensure its natural taste. Even the ones exported to China were airflown the earliest possible.
      We have many varieties of durians such as D24 to the more flavourful Musang King. For first timers, it's advised to try the milder variety first.
      But yes. It's a acquired taste - either you'll like it or you'll hate it.
