00:29 All the cities of southern Europe have narrow streets in historic downtown because it is the most effective urban design against the high temperatures that can be reached in summer. In the past there was no air conditioning.
Welcome to my first vlog in Spain! I had so much fun exploring Valencia, from its narrow streets, to the beaches and incredible architecture. Let me know what you think of Valencia down below 👇🇪🇸 If you would like to support my campaign to bring clean drinking water to those in need, you can learn more here: www.charitywater.org/matthew-kramer
We were in Valencia in November. We stayed in the El Carmen area loved it. Walk through the park went to the Art & Science area also. We will the in Valencia in about a week. Can't wait.
Great video! Spent two days in Valencia recently and loved it! Also had napolitana and cafe con leche for breakfast :) Didn´t know about Port Saplaya - looks so pretty!
You are killing me Matt! I’ve already increased my adventure time to visit Andalucia from 4 to 8 weeks - and now I’d love to visit Valencia! Thanks for sharing!
Thoroughly enjoyed your vlog Mat really well put together with great content, I’ll be keeping an eye out for any more of your vids, I yearn to travel to Valencia !✌🏼🇪🇸🍺
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
@@MattKramerTravels Me too, I've also been to Spain 5 times (2x Majorca, Ibiza, Benalmadena on Costa del Sol, Tenerife and Grand Canaria) and I recommend it :)
I stayed for 3 full days and I think that was a good amount of time. If you are tight on time, you can see most things in 2 days, but you can also easily stay more than 3 to soak it all in
Forever. I live in England, however I love calling Valencia my second home. I love the place and it’s people. I truly hope to one day settle there and call it home ❤ I joke with my children that if ever I vanish that they know to find me just relaxing in Barrio del Carmen

Minute 8:03 The blue building is not actually the Aquarium (Oceanografic) but the Agora. Other than that, an excellent video.
Thank you!
You missed the Cabanyal barrio, with its Art Nouveau and Art Deco houses... and the Fallas! You should come back ;-)

How many days would you recommend in Valencia?

How did you rent bikes? Are they available everywhere throughout the park? Do you pay cash? Thank you!
I rented bikes in the city and then rode to the park. Among the narrow alleyways were many bike rental shops
Good job 👏
Thanks JoJo!
Is it credit card common use in Spain 🇪🇸??
Yes
Yes, I found most places to accept credit card
No. They use either gold coins (the richer people) or eggs (the poorer).
@@robert111k Also, goose feathers, embalming fluid, bales of hay, rosary beads, and other legal tenders.

Empanada is not a staple food in Spain. In any case, the top selling flavour is tuna, then meat (never sausage).
Welcome to civilization :)
Thanks for watching!
You did a tour of Valencia and didn't show the Holy Grail?
Empanadas Comes from south America.
I find it strange that you call the Mediterranean Sea the ocean.
All the areas that you’ve visited has Arabic names
Haha a lot of them do, thanks Tarik!
