I got the exact same one ! Love this thing ! Just put a windshield in it , Drove it last weekend in the snow for bout 50 miles , had a blast ! It handles great , I’m not sure what adjustments to make on Shocks to make it any better lol . Probably leave it alone and just ride .
I have the fragment s model. It’s great. Heat is fine in it and makes it slightly warmer in winter which helps. The loudness is music to my ears being a vtwin. Ride is super smooth with these s models.
@@benattwiggcycles Yea and the Rmax1000. Just like the small bed on the Teryx better. Also considered the Honda Talon even though it’s in a different class
@@NG-tz8wo I’ll give you the honest answer, although I have rough feelings about Yamaha not shipping product out, the Wolverine lineup (850&1000) are much more refined, quieter, more comfortable, and better suspension. That’s even compared to Honda and Kawasaki. Yamaha hit the nail on the head. The Talon is phenomenal! Great power, stiffer suspension compared to the competition. Comfortable seating, and the quality components inside and out. However the Talon doesn’t offer the dump bed. The ideal comparison to the Teryx is the Wolverine 850. But like I say, comparatively the Yamaha is much smoother. But the Kawasaki is a great machine in its own terms.
I read somewhere they fixed the excessive heat and noise with the 2022, any info on that? I got the 2021 S and its a loud ride when your moving pretty good and the heat can be alot during summer
Hey Sage. Regarding the engine noise, it’s still a pretty loud machine even on 2022. That doesn’t seem to have changed unfortunately. Let me check on the heat fix and get back to you!
Sage, Just to follow up. There has not been anything done to aid the heat or noise. My theory: Kawasaki may soon have to revamp the Teryx 800 as we know it. Before all of these turbo 1000's and naturally aspirated 1000's became popular, the average trail speed was, at times, 30-45MPH. Nowadays, folks want faster, more agile machines. The Teryx isn't quite there yet. And truly I don't believe it's supposed to be. With it being a Sport-Utility it's not meant to do the higher speeds that the KRX 1000 can do. s
@@tedbear6012 Yeah they haven’t changed a whole lot over the past few years lol. When you say upgrade your suspension, do you truly mean the FOX shocks themselves or the A-ARMS ?
Looked at these for awhile, then the Yamaha Rmax came out and I really wanted that, but dang Yamaha just rose that price 3k on all trims… so now it’s about $10,000 more than this Teryx….. got me thinking dang I might have to screw Yamaha and grab a Kawasaki… for 10,000 bucks I can buy a trailer for the machine and even mod it out, or buy another atv or dirtbike.
Agreed. When the RMAX FIRST came out, it was a nice comparison but now with freight and unit costs rising, Yamaha has them priced right along with the other big 1000cc machines.
Hey boss! Thanks so much for keeping an eye out on that. 9 years here I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about. But nobody is perfect, right? Forgive me on that mistake
@@briangabriel4165 Hey Brian! We checked with our rep the other day. Same horsepower on all the Teryx models. That was my fault for noting the improper HP.

Love my 2021 s model, rolling on 30x10x14 Blackwater Evolutions and it's a absolute beast.
Hagerstown!?? I’m not far away here in Uniontown Pa
Just bought this exact model and color...pick it up Friday...pretty excited!!!
That's awesome Chris!! Hope you enjoy it!!

I have a 2015 and I love it so far i like it
Is this a good option for 80-85% trail riding. Been stuck between this and the Yamaha. Need something with comfortable seats for rear passengers
I would say so! Are you comparing to the Yamaha Wolverine 850?

Nice review, except Kawasaki states that HP is rated at 57 HP, not 70-80. Still, plenty of power.
Hey there Kevin! You are correct. The certificate of origin on those machines does in fact state 58 horsepower. Thank you for the correction!
I got 22 Terryx s 4 LE in Camo. I never test drove before I bought it. Its very loud . Is this normal?
Yes. It's about the only downfall of the teryx. It's probably the loudest machine I've drove. Other than that it's one of the best and most reliable.
That and you will roast from the engine being right between the front seats.
how much was it

In 2021 they added heat shielding to the S models
Still the same machine since 2016. Can I upgrade my suspension to this s version. Or is it going to be more expensive than the aftermarket

I have seen pleanty of places saying the S models are 70-80 horses power and kawasaki won't give the exact number.
