    1 cor 6:9 in the bible clearly says homosexuality is a sin.

    • @isaacpvful
      @isaacpvful 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I am assuming Faye is a christian. U may not be and u don't have to follow what the Bible says. But don't say religion does not say anything about homosexuality- consenting or otherwise. The swami is right.

    • @isaacpvful
      @isaacpvful 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Religion has always influenced politics. Modi and Trump both rode on that elephant to win elections. The ground reality is that, religion, whether u like it or not, is much more powerful than any constitution. Religious individual, rightly or wrongly, will obey their religious rules first and then the constitution. The supremacy of the constitution is only on paper. The constitution is formed to accommodate all religions,. It is not the other way around.

    • @isaacpvful
      @isaacpvful 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Constitution does not accomodate religion!!! Really. Article 48 of the Constitution of India mandates the state to prohibit the slaughter of cows and calves and other milch and draught cattle. It shows respect to the hindu way of life. It has given in to religion. The three pillars rest on the holy cow.
      What about muslim personal law? It is above the constitution!!
      Mahatma Gandhi's freedom struggle was fought on a religious belief- ahimsa. No constitutional law would have given him the strength required to fight the brits.
      Division of India was based on religion not any constitution.
      Religion has a strong influence on the masses. And religions oppose gay activism and the masses cry foul when they observe gay behaviour.

    • @isaacpvful
      @isaacpvful 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You distracted yourself. You brought the constitution in this discussion. The panelists alluded that religion does not ban homosexuality. The truth is it does. Hence Cor 6:9 was quoted. If you don't care about religion then why are you debating? What about gay male prostitutes?
      Whether you like it or not, a country like India , which is the spiritual capital of the world, religion influences everything, the only exception would be Kerela.

    • @isaacpvful
      @isaacpvful 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you read 1cor 6:9 in KJV . Can you quote it verbatim. What does "effeminate" mean? I have quoted a scripture from the Bible. It is not my opinion.
