I'm thankful for your willingness to touch on this subject. However, it feels more like "7 Tips to Starting a Business" - The last thing the world needs is another rich, shell church. This really feels like the focus is quantity over quality, which is opposite from what most other advice that I've found on the topic. I know that you would likely deny that as being the aim of the video, but of all the advice out there, why choose only the advice that focuses on finance and attendance numbers? The only 3 tips I found sound were planning out ministry focus topics, continuing to seek help and mentoring for the plant even if it is outside the church, and consider working with or even merging with like-minded ministries - though all 3 of these are best practices for church ministry in general and not specific to church planting.
Thank you guys for this. I feel the lord leading our family in this direction and my wife and I are praying and seeking the lord over it. I’ve been a worship leader for 20 years along with some youth pastoring, and it’s just become too much of a burden in my spirit I can no longer ignore. I sincerely appreciate you guys and your wisdom and resources.

Sitting here wondering how Jesus and the early church survived without all these great ideas.The Lord builds His church. We just need to be faithful in loving and serving His sheep.
Hey guys, thanks for making this video. I stumbled across it when looking for something else but felt led to watch. I believe the formula that many are following, may not be God’s plan to impact the world but serving the local community is. No 1 is definitely what is needed, but preaching, outreach and discipleship should be carried out by all believers in some capacity and not left to the leaders. I’ve been called into a tough, unusual area but glad to serve Jesus who said “I will build my church and the gates of hades will not prevail against it”
In church planting, how important is soul winning? Many of church goers today are not even born again. I’m interested in reaching the lost church members. If a group of them chose to start a church, let it be from the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
Bless you guys, but I can’t finish after 12 minutes. Nobody wants to attend a church who actually does these things in the process of starting up. Targeting and grooming the wealthy/influencers? I’m not down.
I have a suggestion that may be radical but would grow a church quickly. Create a safe place for singles of all ages to come and worship without fear of being "fixed" because they aren't married. Contrary to modern belief, many believers don't view church as a Chucky Cheese to keep young couples and kids entertained.
Funny the first 10min they never mentioned the gospel or the Bible. God never changes. Read acts a church is for saints. Non believers are welcome but do not make up the body of the church. It’s not about how many people attend. There is a reason why the average church is 60 people. Get a. Rock band and entertainment. They will come and you will end up with a building full of non believers. SAD
This is all nice but extremely centered around planting in United States with a core team of already believers. This is not going to be helpful to those of us seeking to start churches organically from new converts and with out a core team of people but boot strapping it from zero
No biblical reference whatsoever 💀 no need for the Holy Spirit and prayer; in short just get the rich gang, great photographers and some social media influencers then you are good to go 😂
