Two things that helped us was 1. We went into the community and met people. Principals and counselors at the schools, community center directors and other non profits, the pastors of the churches in the areas regardless of denomination. 2. Was our logo and branding. Of course I’m partial to it but when I heard young people say this is one of the coolest church logos I’ve seen that told me how important branding was. We did shirts and hats etc but I even did our logo and shirts in the colors of the high school in the area which church members wear to the sporting events. Now our struggle is finding someone to do our website and social media regularly. I know this has hindered our visibility the other thing is connecting and collecting info for first time guests. Any advice on that would be great. Church name is Awaken Spokane

Yes. But made so many mistakes. I believe I am supposed to do it again. four in four different cities across the south... Very interesting information. Thank you!
That's the biggest question for most plants. My biggest encouragement is to ask! A lot of planters get nervous about that. Share the vision behind it and ask for people to invest their time, talent and treasure. You have not because you ask not. Are you planting now?

Pragmatism, pragmatism, pragmatism. Christ is the identity of the Church, and His Word is the power unto salvation and sanctification, so preach Christ and Him crucified to prevent becoming a church filled with unbelievers.
Have you planted a church? Let us know what you did to reach people. How did it work?
Thank you so much this is very helpful for me as a church planter. At the moment there are 10 people in our church.
Awesome! Praying for you!

We are for preaching Christ and Him Crucified. We we want as many people as possible to hear that message!
All of this seems so worldly. It's a shame
We believe churches should use the best methods of our time to reach the most people with the timeless message of Christ.
Church is a business - the product is Salvation through Jesus Christ. Use the methods that are proven to work.
