With how the vertical link in the rear of the Explorer is designed, creating a replacement vertical link stronger than the factory but still reasonably priced proves to be a challenge. That's where the billet vertical link inserts come in. Made from high-strength 6061 billet aluminum, it fills the open gap in the stamped steel vertical link. As the rear suspension moves up and down, that link can twist and bend, leading to wheel hop. By strengthening the vertical link, you eliminate that deflection at the source.

Can these be Installed with the tire on and on ramps? or does the wheel need to come off? Just got these can't wait to get then on!!
These can be installed in your driveway, with your Explorer on the ground, no need to take the rear wheels off!
@@steedaautosports awesome! Thank you!! 👍🤙🏻
@@steedaautosportsare there really only two links needed, or do we need one per wheel (front & back)?
Pull the tires. Just install my link yesterday.
Have you installed the H&R lifted springs on a Explorer ST yet?
Don't see this available on your website...
You can find them here -> www.steeda.com/steeda-555-4466-explorer-vertical-link-billet-reinforcement-insert

Wow I wonder if Ford watches this and realizes a potential recall or need to go back to the drawing board 😮
