We made this dish with brown rice instead of white rice. This dish is looks similar to flavored rice, leftover flavored rice, fried rice, Veg fried rice, however the taste and outcome will change. The ingredients for this recipe are readily available and include Banana stem, moong dal, chana dal, sesame, ghee, garlic, peanuts, brown rice, green chillies, onions, fresh coconut. Ingredients:
•200 gms Banana Stem
•1/2 tsp turmeric powder
•2 sprigs curry leaves
•2 tbsp chana dal
•2 tbsp sesame seeds
•4 tbsp ghee
•1 tbsp cumin seeds
•8 - 10 garlic pods
•1/2 cup groundnuts
•3 green chilies choppings
•1/2 cup onion choppings
•1/2 cup cooked moong dal
•1 cup cooked brown rice
•salt to taste
•1/2 cup fresh coconut grating
•little coriander choppings
