Awesome lap! Sorry you had to lift some. I wasn't on a flyer and saw you coming and saw the guy with the flashers on. Tried to get left quickly so you didn't have to shed too much speed to get around the corner.
Good looking lap! I'm surprised how much traffic you had to deal with but everybody seems to be aware of the other cars out there and try to keep out of the way. Your camera view is being obstructed a bit by the rear-view mirror. It's hard to tell for sure but you might be able to improve that if you lowered the mounting position a little bit?
Thanks! Yeah traffic was pretty bad. This was definitely one of the better laps traffic wise. The camera could go lower but might then be blocked by the seats? I'll try it next time!
@@danabasinski I am thinking about giving TT a try - how did you get into it and choose what series to run in? I've only done endurance racing so far, which is at the opposite end of the spectrum in a lot of ways. If you look at the camera placement I had in my old corvette th-cam.com/video/K5Y_y8UlRcM/w-d-xo.html - the camera was a little bit below my eye level, but the other difference is I was also able to mount the camera further forward because I had a harness bar that made it easy to clamp a mount to. You don't want to go too low because then the camera has trouble seeing over the dash. Obviously it's not a huge deal, but for me in-car footage is way more watchable if you can see down the road clearly.
@@JoshVanVeld gridlife appealed to me because many of my friends were in it already. It also gets some good coverage through media so that's always cool
apart from the engine what have you done to the car-looks really fast around the corners and what tires?

No worries at all, I appreciate you making room!
Nice lap dana, sucks about the traffic. 3 wide going into 14, lol
Getting my gltc practice in! Haha
