    Such a detailed and beautifully explained video! Thank you very much for the guide. I am sure I will need this in the near future as the battery is already draining fast. I also love the fact that a girl is doing the tutorial ❤ It's so rare to find a technical video that is not made by some Indian guy and I never expectde to see a girl 😁. Subscribed to the channel! Keep it up giiirl :)!

    Hello; Good tutorial, it seems easy, the question is that the S21 comes with a 4000mAh battery that lasts very little for a day with normal use, can it be replaced by others that sell 5000mAh batteries, is it convenient or inadvisable? The brands that sell it are LOCONCOER, Da Da Xiong, HSABAT which you recommend or discourage. Thank you.

    This is much better due to the plastic back rather than the glass which is prone to cracking more easily. I did this with my s9 when I had it. The problem is that I replaced the old battery with a crap, chinese one and it was arguably worse than before. I don't know where I can find good quality replacement batteries especially for older phones.

      yes a lot of the batteries on amazon and ebay used cheap ones. The also put a new cover tape on top of the old one. There is a youtube video about this problem, which I didn't know about before. Even with the seller with lots of great reviews. The youtube video is titled.....It's all a sccam - before replacing your phone battery watch this- scams explained. TH-camr Hugh Jeffreys. I guess it depends on the seller but seems like a lot of sellers do this. It sucks but maybe go back to Samsung or iphone manufactor or time to upgrade. It depends how long you used the phone for.

    It really ticks me off that manufactures have these battery sealed inside the phone I much better like back in the day where you could just pop out the the battery the guy who says they do this so your battery doesn't pop out when you drop it that's total BS most of us have our phones in a case anyway so you wouldn't have to worry about that they do this so you go out and buy a new phone !!!!! because they know 90% of the people are not going to bother taking a phone apart to change a battery trust me it's also you go buy a new phone

      Smartphone Is still sending GPS data even if it's power off. That's is the reason why battery isn't easy removable anymore.

    i live in the US where can i purchase original battery?

  • @lp4625

    I wouldn't recommend using a suction cup on the battery. There is a flexible wrapping around the battery, and using a suction cup could (probably will) ruin the wrapping and comprimise the battery. In my case, it caused a small hole/rip somewhere and by using the suction cup, I pulled air into the wrapping. I know this video is about changing the battery... so your battery might already be bad... but I was hoping to move the battery to another S21+.

    • @pcofranc

      Yes warranty could be void but won't need to change battery until out of warranty 2+ years in most cases. Other option take phone to authorized repair center.

    Is possible to warp the screen during heating the battery adhesive?

    • @pcofranc
      @pcofranc ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No. Watch JerryRigEverything as he burn tests screens by putting a flame to the screen. Don't do that but heating the screen to where is is up to ~ 200 F is fine. I purchased T-7000 silicone adhesive tube and glued my screen on and use painters tape overnight and it came out perfect.

      It doesn't matter what Samsung you have they're all pretty similar the way they come apart if they are glued in this is what you got to do

    Hey for anyone curious and a little bit anxious about the NFC here is a solution I came up with and also tried instead of just "removing it" you can unscrew the top and bottom and with a slighlt lift on the top and a spudger you can remove the flex cable and remove it as a one whole unit. Remember, the screws are all the same so mixing anything up doesn't cause harm. Here isa little pro-tip from me about screws, before you screw them in try to screw it in the opposite direction till you hear a small "CLICK" sound so you do not demage the thread for the screw so you have in the case you have to replace the battery again your screws are still in tact.
    For anyone reading this comment in the future and needs help with the removal of the battery hit me up and I will give you a cool nieche trick to remove the battery.

    Is there a way toheat the phone without the gun?

    • @pyro9973
      @pyro9973 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A hairdryer but it takes longer. Here is a quick tip, heat it up to a point where you can touch it but it's not very pleasant for long. You can also try run a game on your phone while doing that to heat it up!

    no need to remove everything tbh and adding Isopropyl alcohol to the sites of the battery will help loosen up the glue and its best to re apply glue when putting the back cover of the phone
