    NOTE: For this photo guide, we have used a replacement screen that already had the battery integrated. This is no longer the case in newer replacement screens. Therefore, you will also have to remove the battery and take it over. Check out our battery guide for more information: th-cam.com/video/fbG5eMyrPuY/w-d-xo.html

      @@lukabalta2398 i agree with Kayson looks simple enough. I work with lots of hand tools and feel confident i can do it but... I have a feeling i may be too rough with it and fk some other shyt up on it. So its best to pay 200 rather than try n save 140. Besides that hour or so it takes to repair it i can be spending with the kids all i all its best to pay up. If u wanna fix mine ill ship it to you!?

    Great instructional video, but the cost of the replacement parts from you are more expensive than buying this device second hand... If the parts were more competitively priced it could be worth it, but financially this doesn't make sense.

    I have some questions , has really this type of lcd screen the same gorilla glass victus as the original of the 21 i mean it has the same resistence and flexibility of using, also the front camera is really as clear as the original one. I found it a little bit difficult to trust that the screen with gorilla glass victus also other components such as battery front camera and other ports being included at just 200 $ of price , that seems to me a little bit cheaper. I have the s21 one but i am asking if someday if i have to change my lcd, will i have the same features such as the quality of front camera the battery performance and the screen resistence of new victus cause i am a little pesimist of this decision ?

    i dropped my s21 the other night on the corner, in a case. No physical damage but the screen turned off, even though the phone was still clearly on. Wondering if I just knocked one of those ribbon cables loose.

    • @iDocEN
      @iDocEN  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hello Sidney,
      it is rather unlikely that the cable has come loose. Most likely your OLED display has a small crack and therefore no display anymore.
      Best regards

    I have a black screen, but the touch works. It was fully charged and can still be charged. The force restart doesn't work. I can't pull files off the device, as my PC doesn't "see it". I have been told I have a bad screen, but someone else said it could be a motherboard issue. ONCE for about 1-2 minutes, the screen turned on. I didn't have enough time to enable USB debugging, but for a while after the screen turned on, I was able to transfer some files. I also have alarms that keep going off that are very annoying, since I can't stop them. Periodically, my PC will recognize it, but not very often. Does that sound like a motherboard issue?

      Sounds like the digitiser is working perfectly but the LCD panel itself is damaged or the ribbon/connector cable for the LCD screen

    • @KamaileXo
      @KamaileXo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jamesbroderick3394 😊 thanks. I ended up having to send it back for replacement for replacement, and who knows what I've lost. But because the phone is RED it has taken so much longer to get something else, and a lot of wasted time traveling to repair places and on the phone with the warranty department. It's been ridiculous and all because my phone is a "special" color. Never again.
