Hey girl, I just want to say thank you for being vulnerable with your viewers . People only see the outside like you said . The glamour of being a doctor but the hard work they don’t see . I did a masters in med science and we had to take the nbme, which I did pass. to be honest I liked studying for that more than the MCAT. the mcat literally has made me cry, made me angry, and made me question should I even try to apply to schools. But when you go through any trials and tribulations it’s okay to let it out and to not be okay. I think it’ll help you cope and you will see that your goal has like a pie. You eat off bit by bit and before you know it you will finished!. You got this girl at the end of the day. You got god your boyfriend your friends and family your viewers such as myself cheering you on and wishing you the best . Keep us posted we are all proud of you

I was puzzled, just as you may be right now, but he explained that we get the best fruits from the valleys. And right now you are in a valley, and you are undefeated so far ! I have had to push back my test three times now and I’m on anti depressive meds :/ hope it gets done soon because the longer it stretches on, the thinner I feel stretched. Thank you so much for being transparent on here. My medical school experience has been so demoralizing this first year, yet when I look around it looks like everyone else is having a great time. I have 3 weeks, 5 exams, and 6 assignments standing between me and the "end" of first year. I'll be spending the whole summer working bc im a broke medical student, and then another year of hazing begins. It really is hard to understand how difficult being pushed to your limits 24/7 for years on end actually can be. You are doing amazing and I hope we can both make it to the finish line with a shred of joy/optimism left in us.

I can relate to much of the struggles you spoke about, however I'm in PA school. While we don't go into as much depth like in some areas of med school it is very stressful during exam weeks when we have 6+ exams. Studying medicine is HARD & some days that 'spark' you speak of does dim but you still have it. Your channel is a real inspiration & despite being in a different specialty of medicine I want you to know this just helped me realize I'm sacrificing part of my time now, but in the end I'll prove to myself that I have determination, patience, and now patients, haha. Patients that I studied hard enough to be able to care for. You can do it! Lots of love from Pennsylvania.
