- This is the final community lot for the Pleasantview Renovation Series! There is also Woodland Park, but I changed so little on that lot I didn't even make a video for it. 250 Main Street is described as a community centre, but it is literally just a pool and some couches haha. I decided to turn this into more of a leisure centre, but even then I'm not entirely happy. It looks good from the outside, but inside there is a lot of dead space that I wasn't really sure how to fill. In the end we just add some more work out equipment and some extra playground equipment and leave it there. It looks better than the original lot, but I can see me remodeling this again in the future.
What do you think of this lot? Have you every tried remodeling this? If yes, what do you do with the awkward shaped building?

I love these PV renovation videos, inspires me to do my own remodelling😄 Just a tip in case you didn’t know, to remove terrain paint from the ground click ‘Ctrl’ while painting and it’ll go away. Wasn’t sure if that’s what you were trying to do at 2:38, so wanted to throw that out there😊
This is the first time I’ve fully renovated it in one go and I’m absolutely loving it! Usually I just do lots as and when 😂 omg thank you! I didn’t know that! 🤯 Terrain painting won’t be so much of a struggle now 😂

This is a weird tip, but I totally got the moody look I was going for with Goth Manor (and my own House of Allegra build) by listening to moody music. Idk but Loreena McKennitt did it for me.
Ooh I love that! I’ve never actually tried having mood/ambient music plying while I’m building before 🤔 I’ll definitely try that next time and see if it helps me nail the vibe! 🥰

I’ve added BV, and I’m going to makeover sims & lots for BV as I need.
If Tybalt Capp decides he likes Florence Delarosa (he is an adult in my game) I’ll make her & her house over. If someone befriends the Tinkers, I’ll gussy them up. If I want to go to one of the community lots, I’ll make that over if I use it enough.
I think making them over as you need them is probably the best idea 🤔 rather than doing them all if you don’t need them or won’t include them in your rotations
