I love the houses in Pleasantview, and definitely agree with giving the Pleasant family home a 10. It may have its quirks, but I do like the style and think it suits the family. I followed the scripted events in the base game in the recommended playing order. Don WooHooed with Nina and Dina, then he married Cassandra and moved in with her. Bella also moved in. The resurrected Goth ancestors moved into empty lots in the neighborhood. Dina married Mortimer, who moved in with her. Nina moved into 150 Main Street and resurrected Michael Bachelor. Dina got a job in the Politics career, Nina is working in the Slacker career, and Michael works part time in the Criminal career. Brandi taught Beau his toddler skills and Beau grew up well. Brandi also taught Dustin to study. Skip was resurrected and baby Amanda was born. He got a job in the Medicine career while Brandi went back to working in the Culinary career.
Darren completed paintings throughout the first day of gameplay. He sold the paintings to pay the bills. Darren taught Dirk to study, and Darleen was resurrected. Darren went back to work in the Business career, Darleen is now working in the Law Enforcement career, and Dirk is working part time in the Politics career. Daniel WooHooed with Kaylynn while Mary-Sue and the girls were out. Even though Mary-Sue caught Daniel cheating, they are still married. Lilith and Angela got their grades up and improved their relationship. Mary-Sue got fired but she found a new job. She taught Lilith to study while Daniel taught Angela to study. Both girls got part time jobs. Coral and Herb Oldie moved in and they also got part time jobs. The Burb family moved in and John and Jennifer are both working. I had them hire a nanny.
I relinked Skip Broke before the baby was born. I named her Amanda. I resurrected Skip as well as Michael Bachelor, Darleen Dreamer, and the Sims that died on the Goth lot. I relinked Bella Goth and brought her back.
I'm going to be talking a bit about how I played this neighbourhood as we go through. Fun fact, I also had a bit of a strange dream where all the sims 2 neighbourhoods - yes, including the subhoods and the neighbourhoods from the "Stories" series - were twisted in together, so I'll be talking about that too. 150 Main Street - Lothario: Don still lives the good life in his condo, and has multiple lovers. He's in an open relationship with Nina Caliente. (I used a mod to turn all the Romance sims in my game's jealousy off because they're always... exploring options). He has a little dog named Digby which he uses to seduce women. However, this can backfire when the women start playing around with Digby instead of spending the dates with Don. 😆He is expecting a baby with Nina. 170 Main Street - Caliente: Dina did not end with Mortimer Goth at all. She actually fell in love with Malclom Landgrabb IV from Bluewater Village and lives in his house over there. Nina still lives in her condo expecting Don's baby. Nina has taken Dina's old room, given it her blue theme and gave the baby her old room. 195 Main Street - Dreamer: Cassandra is now engaged to Darren Dreamer and has dumped Don like the scandal that he is. Darren is still selling paintings and Cassandra is working hard in the science career. Both make a great team and are expecting a baby. The baby will be taking up Dirk's room, as Dirk has gone to college. 165 Sim Lane - Goth: Cassandra is planning on moving to the Dreamer house, and Mortimer has married Dora Ottomas. He still couldn't find his wife, and Dora had lost her husband too. The two were able to heal and come together. Little Alexander is making fast friends with Lucy Burb, who is teaching him to loosen up a bit and have fun. I'm planning on getting the Goth family some cats, as a nod to Mortimer's parents in the Sims 1. 215 Sim Lane - Pleasant: Mary-Sue merely got demoted, and has caught her husband cheating on her with Kaylynn. Angela and Lilith had also seen this, and things had gotten worse with the family. Mary-Sue is filing a divorce settlement while the twins decided to go to college. I'm thinking of getting Mary-Sue a dog to console herself, and probably moving Daniel in with Don. Little does Mary-Sue know she is expecting her and Daniel's third child. 55 Woodland Drive - Broke: Dustin had found a dalmatian puppy at an abandoned warehouse while at work and they took in the puppy. She is called Speckle, and she reminds Brandi very much of the dog that her parents, Bob and Betty used to own named Buddy. Beau has learned all his toddler skills and the third child born is named Skip, after Brandi's late husband. Dustin, like the other teenagers, had gone off to college, hoping a degree will help him get a better job. In that strange dream I had, Brandi actually fell in love with Antonio Monty of Veronaville and were engaged.
@@westanimesims Oh, I almost forgot to mention. Ruby Broke and Parker Langerak were a thing, and in my dream, Trigger Broke ended up with Annie Howell and Susie Broke ended up with Sinjin Balani, the Curious brothers and Jenny's cousin.
