We've checked out a few Marlborough Sounds accommodation options, but it's fair to say we saved the best for last. Bay Of Many Coves is the home of luxury in the Sounds and somewhere we've always wanted to check out. It's everything we'd hoped it would be so this was the perfect chance to share it with you.
We were hosted by Bay Of Many Coves to share the experience with you, but of course as always, these are our opinions and no one has 'signed off' anything we've discussed here. The weather was finally in our favour to get out onto the water and go kayaking in the Marlborough Sounds as well! Each accommodation we've stayed at so far has had paddle boards and kayaks and we haven't been able to get out there once.
Leaving the sounds, we pick up Dora the Campervan Explorer and make our way to Harvest Restaurant - according to Stace 'one of the best meals she's ever had'... believe me, that speaks volumes!

Yes please 🙋 That place was like paradise, and so pleased you/we got to see the water that shade after the storms! And as for the restaurant at the end - wow!!! The setting looked an equal to the quality of the food. The North Island of NZ just looks like heaven to me!!!

OK I'm going to call it too! Bay of Many Coves might just be the most idyllic place that you guys have yet presented. What a location and the accommodation looked fantastic. Harvest Restaurant looked incredible too, with the vines close by. Plus a journey in Dora through that amazing bleached landscape. Possibly the perfect few days!

@@DanegerAndStacey we went around the UK, because of the restrictions and stuff, we went to Liverpool, York, Hull, Walkworth castle & then around the city we live. It was honestly just so freeing and I gained so much happiness!

We have just finished our two weeks in a motorhome -- Castle Hill, Otira, Hokitika, Greymouth, Westport, Punakaiki, Golden Bay, Nelson, Picton, Blenheim, Kaikoura, Hanmer Springs, Akaroa and Christchurch. AMAZING!!! I'm looking forward to seeing your videos of the places we have just been to.

Honestly...where you stayed looked stunning- and that kayaking trip was absolutely perfect looking! That scenery is absolutely wonderful 💗 I really need to go to more places at home in Scotland , it's not quite as dramatic as South Island , but we have beautiful scenery here too- so you are inspiring me!

It's "Queen Charlotte Sound" (not "sounds"). It's interesting you talk about "kiwi hospitality" because most of the staff who work at BOMC are from overseas.
By that logic do you have to be Thai to give a Thai massage? American to play in the NFL? Japanese to practice sumo? It's not about race or where you're from.
@@DanegerAndStacey well what makes "kiwi hospitality" unique? If it's not the origin of the person providing it, why not just call it "hospitality"? If you've traveled as much as you claim to have, you'd know that a lot of people like to show off their "[insert country of origin here] hospitality". You're right - it has nothing to do with race (& I'm not sure why you tried to turn this into something race related), it's about where you're from.
