New Zealand is so beautiful and diverse! I had no idea until you guys started this trip around the country. And the happiness on Daneger's face when he knew he could just sit and watch rugby was priceless lol! Stacey, get this man to the pub to watch the games more often 😂

I've loved this NZ series, but this has been by far my favourite episode. I 100% would choose to do a day trip like this, the only thing missing was a bike rental and a cycle along the flat sea front. But kayaking, hiking and a wildlife boat trip are right up my street. Abel Tasman is firmly on my list of places to visit in NZ when I eventually make it down there 🥰

Well guys, you obviously made it to Kaiteriteri. If you plan on sticking to the coastline and heading down to France josef, check out the Rainforest retreat accommodation wise. We did another 10 day circuit around lower south just over a month ago before heading back to Nelson. It was fantastic. At Franz Josef there is the Wildlife center where they house live Kiwi and Tuatara. We got a package deal that included superb accommodation at the Rainforest retreat (where we watched the North vs South rugby game on huge a screen )Helicopter ride up onto the Glacier and the Wildlife Center. Nice Vlog...Cheers 🍻
These are awesome recommendations thank you. We have a feeling you're going to like the next few videos - we ended up staying at Rainforest Retreat in one of their deluxe tree huts (such a cool place) then we do the Fox Glacier heli hike.

I'm enjoying the series so far :))) Question, when you book for accommodations (while driving a campervan) do you have to check if the property allow campervans to park? Do you need to notify them if you're bringing a campervan? I'm interested to try campervan-ing one day and getting a break from the cramp space would probably be a good idea...
Great to hear you're enjoying the series! Definitely, we always ask if they have appropriate parking for the camper. It makes our lives easier too once we show up because they often tell us where we can / can't park.

I totally get it... The thing I loved best about the AirBnB we booked in Lower Hutt for my birthday, after the amazing view, was the fact that we were there for a couple of nights, there was a washing machine and it gave us the chance to do laundry for the first time during our trip.
Suggestion: do a south island loop tour as we did last year, your already at the top of south, visit farewell spit, wharariki beach, collingwood, golden bay, before you head to the coast, in westport visit karamea, then head to punakaiki pancake rocks and blowholes, and you will see the one of the world's best coastal view, head to greymouth, although there is a very good view also in arthur's pass, otira viaduct and the castle hill, okey back to coast😂 where you cna visit hokitika glow worm and hokitika gorge as the water is like turqouise, and then to walk tree top, then head to ross the gold mine town,and straight to hari-hari, franz josef, view of the lake matheson, fox glacier and haast then invercargill to bluff to dunedin, arrowtown, queenstown, puzzling world, wanaka, oaumara, lake tekapo in timaru, christchurch, kaikuora, back to picton😊

OMG, what a beautiful country. We only wish we had the good sense to stay and apply for a permanent visa or even citizenship some 20 + years ago. Most of my family came from Kaiteriteri. They also own about 7% of the houses there. Sadly I can't be there more often tho 😭🥰👍🏻
