Tangalooma Island Resort was a pretty big shock for us, how have we never heard of this insanely beautiful paradise? Not only is it stunning, but there's so many activities on the island, the food is seafood heaven, the staff are lovely and the Tangalooma Wrecks are so cool to snorkel!

I prefer Brisbane over Melbourne and Sydney, less traffic and people, but still has everything the other cities have.

OMG I cannot remember seeing a vlog with so much action in a 16 minute span! The sand boarding looked so fun, and the wreck snorkeling too. Oh..and the helicopter ride..wow! Markets, restaurants...incredible on what all Brisbane has to offer. Fabulous vlog and editing! 👏🎬

You guys did a great job. You captured the Brisbane vibe perfectly. Sunny and friendly! Melbourne …cold , wet and grumpy. Sydney…busy, busy and traffic jams. I’m 78 , born in Germany but came here when I was 4. I was vaccinated with the true blue Aussie vaccine when I was 10 (bitten by snake). 🙂

❤❤ Brisbane. Next time you go, you need to check out New Farm, Teneriffe, Newstead, and the West End. So many gorgeous cafes, restaurants and bars 😊 And North Stradbroke Island. Amazing ❤

How cool! You've listed 3 places that we legit love (and have the content to back it up haha!) - sad thing is, we didn't make it to eat street, agh! Gotta go back.
Been to Brisbane before on a military exercise, only had 1.5days of RR... didnt get to see much, but it was back in 2000s.... maybe it wasnt developed yet. 11 out of 10 for the AMAZING weather though, the lcool breeze and having my sweat instantly evaporating consistently is a godsend.
You gotta get back there then! That year round weather is a serious selling point huh?

Brisbane is my favourite. It's not as big and congested as say Sydney or Melbourne. But yet still larger and busier than say Perth or Auckland 😊

Thanks Guy's For sharing what I consider one of the most underrated cities in Australia as an almost life long Brisbane resident, (Except for 7 years in Melbourne).There are so many hidden Gems within 2 hours or so in every direction.
So true! I feel like we only scratched the surface, there's so much to do in and around Brissy. We loved it!
Harriet and i have been to Brisbane on several occasions to visit friends and relatives. We love the city. So many fun activities . It's an incredible paradise isn't it! Crazy to think that we'd never actually heard of Tangalooma and then to get there we're thinking 'what the hell, why did no one tell us about this!'

The cheaper option of seeing an sand island in Moreton Bay is to go to Bribie Island. It is the only island in Moreton Bay with a bridge.

Brisbane is such an amazing city! I visited in July 2017 and LOVED it! So much to do packed into one destination with Moreton Island, Stradbroke "Straddie" Island, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Southbank, Mount Coot-tha and more! The food was also very good and I loved the chill, laid-back vibe of the city compared to Sydney (which is also fun but for different reasons). If I wasn't on the other side of the Pacific in the US (Texas in particular), I would live in Brisbane.

We didn't have time for a brewery tour or beer tour this time (wanted to in the Sunshine Coast too) but we 100% will if/when we go back
I visited Brisbane about 7 years ago. And it is in my top 3 cities I’ve ever been too (apart from Poland). It was the fisrt time in my life that after spending a few days somewhere, my boyfriend and I started searching terms like „rental”, „salaries in Brisbane”, „what to do to move to Australia” and I even asked in my workplace is there a possibility to transfer to Auratralia.
Now that is relatable! Glad that you loved it as much as us - any chance you can more there now? How cool is Poland btw! We LOVED it, would happily go back.

Yip. Brissy is homebase with northern beaches (aka sunny coast) and southern beaches (GC) all within 60 minutes (Southport/Main beach and Caloundra/Kings Beach). The river city also has a 66 km coastline ... south side Manly and Wynnum with marina vibe and north side Redcliffe and Sandgate. Then the 3 sand islands: Moreton, north Stradbroke, and Bribie Islands. Great city view from Mt Coot-tha and out to Moreton Bay.
So much epicness in one place! You're very lucky to live there

Are the sand hills as big as the ones north west of Auckland?.
I'd say probably bigger but maybe not quite as insanely steep as some of them out Bethels way
