It did not
so apparently Vin Diesel plays ark 1 since his son introduced him to it, and thats why he was up for not only being in the trailer but the main character in the ark 2 story, so im excited to see that
They've released the trailer for season 1 of the animated series that goes far more into depth
So let me explain everything
Ark 2 trailer, it takes place unknown time in the future after we,the survivor, defeated Rockwell and saved humanity (Genesis part 2 DLC)which got onto the new planet called Arat Prime.
Bin Diesel plays Santiago da Costa, very important character in the lore, and this is one version of him, it's hard to explain him without reading the lore or watching NeedyTheNoodle videos on Ark. The Girl is called Meeka (Reference to Santiago creating Meks, super robots which helps us fight the titans) and those orge people are Arati, which are native to Arat and getting accidentally invaded by Dino's and humans because of us 😂
In Second trailer, Meeka mentions the war that happened in the sky, and heroes etc, She is basically referencing us, the survivor and they don't know that we also basically saved Earth too so they still think it's got corrupted.
Ark Animated Series will be a spin-off from the lore, but will still be following Helena Walker and her journey (you saw her in previous ark video) and there will be currently 2 Seasons with Season 1 being finished but I guess they will drop both seasons in the same time? So 2 Seasons, 14 episodes which will range in 30-50 minutes run time. And Gareth Coker will be composing music so that is a huge win.
When can we expect both Ark 2 and Ark:TAS? Probably during the summer, with Animated Series promoting Ark 2 through TV media and other way around. They are making these 2 for past 2-3 years so I hope they will be decent

Since the girl said dad tell the stories of a terrible war that happened across the sky(War against Rockwell on the Genesis ship).
Ark 2 is specifically set after genesis 2 as the ending cut scene literally shows santiago landing on the planet ark 2 is set on. Rockwell dies and with his place in the story as well as the importance of his death it would not make sense to bring rockwell back. Though david tenant might voice another character for all we know.

Vin Diesel is a gigantic nerd and will definitely be in the game. There may be in even more than one Vin (Ark 1's ending got complicated)

Super excited for more ARK react stuff, I know you two are watching some of the most recent release trailers from the Game Awards, I definitely think if you can manage it to squeeze Remnant 2 into that list and maybe the first Remnant trailers from 2019?

Tbh the enemies thing has always been on the dinosaurs and other players but the new people in bones and are much larger promises AI enemies that can use weapons so that will be fun to see in the 2nd ark and how it plays out will it only be those or will there be other enemy types is the main question though tbh it does feel a little like Conan exiles if it goes this route

I think you two should react to ARK survival storys by NeddyTheNoodle he really did a good job at retelling the story in the explorer notes but bring your popcorn its... long but worth the watch!

This was the low quality trailer released by IGN and the band awards, you should watch the higher quality one released by Ark themselves ( it’s in their TH-cam ) it’s definitely worth watching again because you can really see the detail

The an8mated series is going to be all the data logs and notes u find in the game and ll its doc made into a series the girl is helena in the games she is sort the main character that u read about since its a survival game not story you read about her story and how she traveleved between arks while u follow her in recent months they updated the game so she shows uo as a sort guide almost telling u your tasks to guide u along story for the games a intro and end cutscene for each mao telling u what do and what next in a way for story guided purely by helena
