Zack’s DC movies dwell deep into archetypes, mythology and the hero’s journey, but with a much more grounded interpretation. It’s not an easy task to introduce all these characters in just three movies and make them relatable and cared for, but he accomplished that with MoS and BvS, and will most probably accomplish the same with ZSJL. I absolutely love Cavill’s Superman, but Batfleck blew my mind. Best Batman ever to hit the screen and amazing acting by Affleck. We could almost touch his anger and pain. Not to mention the best superhero fight on screen on BvS, just brutal. The only thing I didn’t like in all these movies was the “Martha” thing, it could’ve been done differently, without pointing it out so literally, although to be honest, I had never before made the connection that their mothers share the same name, so there’s that. A minor detail in a fantastic movie. MoS was the only movie to date that got me all emotional, when Costner says “You are my son.” Top notch acting, really broke my heart. I’m eager to see what Zack has for us in ZSJL.

Yeah yeah, the "rising dirt" question is the one that disappointed me the most in the theatrical cut. I mean, sure it could've been just a sign that Kal is still alive, of course we know that...but we also know that Snyder never does anything in a movie "just like that" - everything always server its purpose and I considered it always as a massive cliffhanger to the next movie, which would've been referenced in. So you know, not seeing it, was like a punch in the face but a really hard one. And I'm not really sure if we'll see the real outcome, since the connection to it was made in the first original JL script (the 3 part one), before the rewritten version for only 2 parts and we don't know if that was able to stay in the movie. The resurrection though will still happen in somewhat "similar" ways, while probably with very different "drivers" than the motherbox and etc, however not sure if the rising dirt will play any part in the movie :( I'll keep my hopes but I'm rather on the "no" side, this time, so that I won't be disappointed that much again, if the I'd be right. Also, the nightmare timeline was so refreshing (seeing something like that in a cbm) because it had such a hard zombie horror vibe and it turned even more scary, when the parademons came in. So that was another massive disappointment in the TC, when they turned the parademons into some cartoonish crap. I think the turning point to have Bruce (aka the Batman) desperately wantedt to assemble the last hope of earth to face a forminable foe (Stephenwolf or Darksied), probably Batman doesnt know who Darkseid but judging that Stephenwolf has a master really scared Batman! the turning point was the knightmare of Batman where he, known as best detective, discovered it was not a knightmare but a fragments of reality left by the flash point. Batman discover a cosmic residue of the visit of Flash and it solidify that Batman needs to do whatever it takes to defend the survival of earth and humanity.

Also..... superman never actually died especially in the death of superman. There was a certain state his body was in that only kalex and the eradicator (i think) noticed and put kal through the regeneration process. If WB were smart and actually understood and respected DC's multiverse then they should have accepted the Snyderverse with open arms as an extension of just that. But nope, the multiverse is just an excuse for seeing what sticks and in doing so, will result in cookie cutter and cheap looking superhero movies with no heart and soul (ie., Shazam, Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey, Justice League 2017).
