Turning the adjuster screw in will lift the pressure plate away from the clutch pack, same as if you were slightly pulling in the clutch lever. To bump start, you will need to turn the adjuster screw counter-clockwise, which will allow the pressure plate to drop onto the clutch pack, clamping the clutch plates together and engaging it to the engine, giving you the connection needed to bump start. Backing out the adjuster screw counter-clockwise = smaller gap in clutch = more Free Play Gain. Turning the adjust screw clockwise inward = larger gap in clutch = less Free Play Gain. At no point did I see how to properly adjust the slave cylinder. Lots of what it's not used for and how it should act when it's properly adjusted but nothing about how to adjust it. I managed to figure it out on my own after a lot of experimenting

Didn't know I could bump start my bike - cool
great informative vid, helped me get the setup dialed
Great info! Would it be bad to ride with the "manual override" to bump start the bike as you will do with a regular clutch?
Awesome info. Cheers!
Bike in neutral and at idle the bike rolls backwards 22 husky 501 for reference
Excellent
What is the procedure to bump start a bike with cable operated clutch?
I don’t think there’s a work around with a clutch cable.
My clutch cylinder slave is leaking a ton of oil any tips on that the part is fine but just spits out oil

So if turning in takes away freeplay gain then why wouldnt you turn it in to bump start the bike?

I don’t have this adjustable clutch cylinder
