I don’t think this show was given a fair chance. Linda is amazing and the intro alone was awesome.
I totally agree. I loved this show and was sad to see it end. But what’s funny to me is how many of the actresses went on to become well known, like Cassidy Rae and Carrie Ann Moss. I had forgotten about them.
You're right, it didn't get a fair chance. Too many shows that had potential were canceled after only one season. Melrose Place didn't click in the beginning. It wasn't until after Heather Locklear was bumped up from guest star to one of the main stars of the show did MP take off and became a huge success. So much so that the other networks tried to copy it. Hell, even Fox itself tried to copy the success of MP with Pacific Palisades. Fox had a major hit with Melrose Place but that wouldn't have happened if they had quickly canceled it after one season like it did with it's spinoff Models Inc.
I think when Emma Simms joined the cast they were trying to do the same thing Heather Locklear did with MP. But I guess it was too late. I think the last few episodes were good and the series deserved at least a second season.

Love how Linda Gray is so iconic that she got top billing and then it was alphabetical order, she was on Dallas a few years earlier which was an iconic soap in the 1980s

I would literally give just about anything to go back to these days. I remember waiting for what seemed like ages for this to premiere. Cassidy Rae's character, Sarah, was my favorite.

Carrie Anne Moss stated that making this show was a huge mistake from her and she regretted it. Also, at the end of the season (show), her character was sold overseas into se*ual slave*y
I was obsessed with this show as a soap loving kid of the 90’s! I loved Kylie Travis’s Julie! I remember the show ending on a cliffhanger then being cancelled and feeling gutted. But then re-runs aired on I think E or somewhere and they actually showed the aftermath of the cliffhanger and kind of wrapped everything up! It was so surreal and I loved every minute of it!

Am a big Romanov from Angel. She is so great in that show. Am amazed she hasn't gone on to more greater things. Watched Models Inc. as a teen because I was a big Melrose Place fan.

It’s a damn shame Fox decided to air this show in June 1994 when viewers of Melrose Place and 90210 had had their fills of soap and needed the summer off, but it could never competed with all things related to OJ Simpson. The sleaziness and back-stabbing of Models Inc would have a great complement to its sister shows in September.

Wow! Such fantastic quality. I absolutely love the show, and wish they would have released a Dvd box set. There is so much other garbage that has come and gone that is not even worth the disc that it's printed on. Actually would probably love to use it as a ringtone. out of all the girls, Teresa Hill is the hottest. Thanks so much!

M M Models Inc was the top models agency created and ruled by 'Melrose Place' Amanda Woodward's mother: the show was ruined but most of people were already interested by 'Charmed' and feed up by the millions dollars salaries of real top models in the end of the 1990's.
At least, it was what they finally pretended.
Julie was looking for a millionnaire to marry. Haha.

Well, some 2000's top models married some rich businessmen or billionaires but finally former top model Jerry Hall married billionaire Rupert Murdoch: Julie's idea was consequently a really good one. YES!!!

Is the series on DVD? Looks like DVD quality to me.
Maybe it was recorded onto a video CD or into video software from satellite or cable.
DVD 's and recorders weren't on the market in the US until the late 90's.
