Firstly, I haven't played minecraft in years (I don't spend a lot of time on the internet so I haven't bothered to change it) and I just finished University last year so I'm not as young as you might think. Secondly, some still do - not most. Most tv show openings these days are more title screens than opening credits (a quick flash of the show's name). And while show's like TWD and GOT have songs with melodies, I was more referring to the days when TV shows had themes with verse's, bridge's chorus etc not just ambient orchestral music.
Which kind of goes against the theme of the show, because the whole point of it was that Buffy was never alone. That's what made her stand apart from all the other slayers that came before her. They did their duty alone and sooner or later, it got them killed. Buffy fought with her friends and survived in doing so. She did die (twice), but neither one of them stuck, because she had friends and didn't 'stand against the forces of darkness alone'. I get that that's the catchphrase for the show. It's just funny, is all. The premise of the show goes against its own catchphrase.

HolsterTV More like when listening to it when playing stuff like resident evil
Call of duty sucks.
I'm 35 but I never actually saw the show until 2008. I binged the whole series. My #1 favorite show.
The Offspring introduction to Buffy gives me chills still.
I started watching buffy when I was 3 around the time season 4 ended and I watched seasons 1-3 on video. And I continued to watch seasons 5-7 live until the show ended in 2003 in a epic hellmouth battle. The show still means everything to me and I'm 17 about to graduate. After the show ended I watched bufy reruns on fx until 2007. I started watching the show every year starting in 2013 after I realized it had been 10 years since the show ended. I love watching faith and buffy fight just as much as I did when I was young and the funny thing about all of this is that we can enjoy this art even in our middle age years that's the only good thing about buffy ending really. It will be around forever. I miss buffy and I will always cherish the time I had with it during its original run
Nerf Herder, GREAT JOB ON YOUR EPIC SONG!
Rock it! This show was a big part of my life, at a point in time...
But if course it's still AWSOME!
Thank YOU so much!!!
I’m in a R&R band and we play this for a warm up! It makes us happy! Cheers, Buffy
So glad all 7 seasons are on Netflix
I just checked they're not on there.
sounds like the kids aren't alright by the offspring a bit
That's why I'm here.i knew I wasn't the only one
+Alex castanesa Same reason :D!
dead ringer of Social Distortion's 1945
literally going back and forth between the two songs right now
Never heard of social distortions so I looked it up and I get where you're coming from. Would be easy to blend both.
This shall be played at my funeral
Remember when we would sit hours glued to the screen cause series had meaning.
