I’m going to be honest, I always thought the ukulele was just a little fun toy until now. I just received one and decided to come to TH-cam for some guidance on playing an ukulele and I’m seriously impressed by so many people who play this instrument so beautifully. Well played sir, I’m going to enjoy learning this little instrument.
...already up to 1.5k now and just one week ago at this point. Wait till people catch on. Especially the musical people who are more interested in playing the uke with this finger pick style rather than just learning how to chord and sing some cute fun songs to with it. I grew up studying classical piano so the finger picking style speaks to my soul and that's the style I'm dying to learn with the Ukulele. He's a little newer to TH-cam than some of the others but I don't think it'll take too much time before he catches on. Just wait...
So happy I found this. I actually fell asleep with my uke in my hands last night. When my daughter had company over and I was sitting practicing, I got up to leave and she said "Mom, please don't stop playing". So while her friends came with all their kids I just sat there outside and played this progression in the background while she visited. (and im only half-way thru the tutorial lol) Later she said "Mom, thank you so much. That was so lovely and it actually sweetened the stress level". I hear this in my 💤 😴 Goodbye Ibuprofen PM - hello 7ths

I find one video each evening and practice before going to bed (not watching tv)...it brings so much joy to my life. I will join the patreon to support you and I have sent links to your video lessons to everyone I know who may consider picking up a Ukulele. These arrangements are so beautiful and the fingerpicking with strumming brings so much life to the instrument. I used to play guitar until my arthritis in my hands made it impossible to use my fretting hand..so I switched to the Uke...but never felt the 'fullness' of the instrument (like guitar fingerpicking) until now. Hi Marco! This is so beautiful. I'm 64 from the UK and just been given a uke for XMAS. I learnt to play guitar 50 years ago but gave up in the 70s as work took over. One thing I’d personally like to see more of is the angle that you do at 10:02 on this video. Especially when you’re showing us the strumming patterns. It make it easier to see exactly what your doing. It seems to help me with seeing how you pluck each string. Thank you again for your lovely interpretation of these cords and strum patterns.
