I just returned the BlueDriver . Garbage doesn’t give you any graphs on what is going on. It’s just a basic scanner. I was excited to use it when buying a used car but it’s not exactly accurate on how long the car has been running with check engine light .
My blue driver broke! Spent 100$ scanned 2 cars and it stopped working . I have a 10$ walmart scan tool it can do everything the blue driver can do I also have a 1000$ launch tool complete garbage do alot of research b4 buying scan tools
How reliable are the fuel consumption/mileage figures obtained from the scanner. I get about 10 km/l from the scanner but around 6 km/l when dividing the odometer reading by the quantity of fuel purchased. Indicative of a tweaked petrol pump dispenser or faulty scanner calculations or a bit of both???
Are any of these capable of clearing pending codes? What about ¨permanent¨ codes? I have a code set in my Volt´s BECM that won´t allow me to charge even though the problem was repaired.
@burningsoul1365 Interesting you say that, because they can it's just up to the vehicle if it can support it. Some makes don't allow auto VIN detection.
@@Big_Flubba ive tried on it on various makes and models makes and always have to imput manually, i work at big garage, apart from that there quiet good.

Awesome content. Thank you
Blue Driver can automatically read VIN's
it cant, you have to put in manual

@@burningsoul1365 you may have to update the firmware. Also you may not just be getting ones that allow auto vin
I can also confirm that the VIN automatically populated on a 2013 ford explorer
These are code readers not scanners
will buy Ancel, so cheap
