This bike is so excellent. It is my next acquisition. Its large but is very light. It's engine is about average but has yet a lot of horsepower and is quick. Higher speeds are at relatively low RPMs. It fits like a glove and is easy to get on and off of. It's mile range is about 245 miles on a 3.7 gallon fuel tank. It comes in the best colors. What's not to like? It's an 800 cc or a 50 Cubic Inch engine. This bike is quite possibly in the top 10 cruisers made in Japan. It is a crowning achievement by all standards and the star of the show. THANK YOU SUZUKI for getting EVERTHING exactly right. The handling is excellent. This is what you want in a long range cruiser in every category !! My favorite motorcycle is a Yamaha V star 1100, a real dragster but this C50 is competitive with the 1100 but the 1100 is still faster. Hard to chose between the 2 really. The C50 is more comfortable and roomy so its almost a tie ... .. ..
Yeah all the time! It rides well, handling and suspension is just fine. You feel a little bit of a lag with the power but not crazy, downside of the 800cc bit.
Greetings! Currently debating on getting this bike. How does the 5th gear handle? Around what speed does the bike begin to get a bit questionable in the way of stability?
Nice choice! It's pretty solid, you can get down to around 40-45 before it starts to labor in 5th. And it's a nice ride up to about 75-80 mph but much higher and the RPM gets up there. Hope that helps.
1st and 2nd gears are just to get you to 3rd gear. 3rd and 4th gears are the real quick drive gears and 5th will allow you to cruise away at higher speeds. The tranny is perfect ...

Bike sounds great. Anyway we could find out what type of pipes he put on there?
Thank you! Yes they are Cobra drag pipes
So nice why not add an electronic cruise control ?
I’ve definitely thought about it, will probably be the next mod I’ll do.

Nice 👍 Have you rode with a passenger. How does ride with two up? Lag, suspension and such.

Hi , did you put a tuner and change intake and filter . Or just have different pipes.
The guy I bought the bike from told me he had just put the different pipes on and that's it.
What kind of pipes
