If you haven't been informed elsewhere yet it was Ambessa(Mel's Mom) that was putting on the mask with gold on their lip. Also, though this is the end of the story for Arcane, there are plans for more shows/movies for other parts of Runterra(the world Arcane takes place in). And in reference to the council being dead part is that it could be a metaphorical, meaning that the council is no more but not necessarily they are all dead.(There is also possible extra info from the German subtitled version of this teaser. Apparently it states that half the council is dead). Thanks for the reaction.

Right! We thought she was there for some reason but we remembered wrong. Thankfully she's fine, but we didn't see Mel and we fear she didn't make it 😔
