Nice truck! His monthly overhead has to be somewhere around $10k mo. Add in dump fees, fuel and maintenance and may be breaking even at $20k mo gross. Sounds/looks like he is on the right path to success though.
Makes even less sense later on when he says he has a full time driver but is doing 20k a month revenue…. Does he mean profit. Full time driver,, 20k revenue,,, that doesn’t math
Gross dollars per month is what Deric gave us in this video. The driver and all expenses are covered by the cost of the rentals as described in the video. The goal was more that you could create a sustainable side business with minimal owner interactions if you build good systems and stay consistent!
You can do 20k a month with 1 driver, if your doing contracted work and having a dumpster sitting on a site with 1-2 dumps a month your making X number of dollars regardless of how many times you move it. Also around where I am we can dump concrete for free so that’s a niche market as well…
So you made 20K a month but how much debt are you in and what are your running expenses ..... also is that your gross profit after or before you've paid your dump fees..
Cool vid. It’s clearly just another rev stream because you’re not making money on $20k rev with a full time driver but that’s ok because he will gradually get there. Also don’t forget the tax break he’s getting! Good for him. I just hope that sweet truck has a live PTO lol
Yes this is most definitely a side hustle for Deric, just one of his many successful businesses. Not sure what Tax break you are referring to but the truck definitely has the live PTO! Thanks for your comment!
@@QualityTruckEquipmentin 24-36 mo his rev will hit 1mm. But at this point he won’t be washing cans after every use because it’s not the most efficient. Lol. Happy to see the younger guys who know how to communicate, market, and isn’t afraid of technology.

20k a month isnt a flex...
The goal is not to flex just to show others there is money to be made in this industry! Not to mention it's practically self sustainable!
@@QualityTruckEquipment any hooklift truck under cdl can carry 30 yarders. I need to upgrade. I’m running ironbull gooseneck set up as of now.
Is this cab that small? Looks like yall are sitting shoulder to shoulder.
It looks like its maybe a bench seat beside him, probably got closer so they are both in the same shot
@@RyanMarc12Yeah the camera man had to fit in there too 😂
Hey man you spelled yellow wrong! 😆
Lmfao I’m 21 years old in this industry and you need at least 50 rentals a month to hire a full-time driver
Deric is able to include his drivers cost within his can prices to account for costs!
I’m so confused…. So they rented 4 out of 20 dumpsters their first month…..
Only one truck can handle all dumpster?
It allows you to switch out between mutlitple bodies!
