Vision seems to be getting more and more pissed off with every intro, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s he was fine but in the 80’s he looked downright depressed in the Santa getup and here he seems to get really pissed off at Tommy. never watched Malcolm in the Middle growing up, but this intro (and the whole episode) hit hard for me because my childhood was the late 90s + early 2000s. so the episode's vibe reminded me of shows like Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire, and the claymation commercial reminded me of ads like the old Chips Ahoy ones
Kinds also gives vibes of Sabrina when she went to college when the opening changed
Soon as I saw the style of text in there names I knew immediately what the show style will be

It is kinda annoying that due to where Vision is as a character right now it kinda prevents us from fully seeing him as a father, I would have really liked it if we actually saw him being a dad to Billy and Tommy instead of just a few short scenes with them then “oh gotta go to work” or “well time to make an excuse to avoid my batshit crazy wife”

I think the reason is because of the events at the end of episode 5 they needed a dramatic shift in tone. They couldn't do just another multi camera sitcom after that. Malcolm in the Middle marked a shift in the early 2000's when sitcoms moved in the single camera format, got edgier, and broke the 4th wall more.

Although this opening is told through the perspective of Tommy, the lyrics sync with specific characters:
WANDA - ("Don't try to fight the chaos/don't question what you've done") Wanda losing control of her sitcom reality, but does not want to give it up or question what exactly she is doing to the people in Westview.
VISION- ("Some days, it's all confusion, easy come and easy go/ What if it's all illusion? Sit back, enjoy the show.") Vision clearly knows something is up in Westview, despite Wanda attempting to reassure him that everything is perfect.
AGNES - ("Let's keep it going") She is obviously part of what's happening in The Hex, as many of us is theorizing.
The theme song ends with...
PIETRO as "Himself" - ("Let's keep it going, though there may be no way of knowing/who's coming by to play.") This could further the theory that this version of Pietro was not created/brought to Westview by Wanda, but something else entirely
It being from Tommy’s perspective makes sense of you take into account his comic backstory being he’s made from the fractured soul of a demon reshaped into a child. It’s possible part of Billy and Tommy are trying to keep Wanda from keeping the illusion going so demons can finally take full control over these child bodies that have been made for them

Modern Family is 2010’s, the is 90’s/2000’s
Theory: Mephisto was summoned by J Jonah and Jameson who made a deal with the devil after he murdered Uncle Ben in this adaptation as he wanted Mephisto to kill Spiderman. As a result, Mephisto traumatize Wanda by leading her to retrieve Vision's corpse and hijack Westview into her own image. In addition to her hijacking the town, Hayward gets involved with Mephisto too who invokes his anger to Wanda even more just to pressure her. Finally after everything is set, Mephisto sics Wanda to Spiderman so they'll fight each other with Electro and Doctor Octopus, who were hunting down Spiderman has their mind raped into becoming his enemies and kill him off for good. But thankfully, Doctor Strange interferes at the last second as they both teamed up to defeat Mephisto and end the nightmare for good.
Thats a very realistic theory, lets spread it everywhere so everyone believe it.
Too much only 3 episodes left there is no clue of mephisto. Even tho it can be his doing, there is no clue to support it. Maybe in doc strange 2 we will see him, but not now.

The amount of people who don't know how old tv show intros worked in the comments is insane. The last actor shown in the intro always has "as character they're playing" and is always the only one to have it. Could it be a double meaning because Pietro is probably not actually Pietro? Yes, absolutely. But it also works as just a reference to the og shows and nothing else.

they combined 90s and 2000s with this one, it's basically late 90s/early 2000s, next episode is Modern Family so 10's and then the remaining 2 are completely MCU vibes like Ep4, no sitcoms.

I think they did it on purpose, maybe as a joke, or maybe some other specific reason. Because this is most definitely not the Pietro from this world. He is not "himself". But they're trying to convince you, maybe.
Listen to The Last lyrics "no way of knowing who's coming to play". I'm like 100% sure that's not Pietro. Maybe it's like all the comic book fans are saying it is the devil Mephisto or some other powerful entity.
The other movies have already established that straight up bringing back the dead or immortality is considered impossible in the Marvel Universe. There are work arounds like the Infinity Stones but it creates chaotic parallel universes. That's why they only brought back people who were killed by Thanos in the snap. Tony, Loki, Vision, Natasha, and Pietro died of natural causes bringing them back with the stones would have caused a paradox.
So Wanda if really can bring back the dead maybe some dark entity wants to know how she did it.
Next episode is probably going to parody “Modern Family” or “arrested development” Some people are saying “the office”...But that’s not a family sitcom....
My bet is arrested development “an now here’s the story of a family who lost everything and the one WIFE who had to keep them together...It’s WandaVision” though the 4th wall breaking in promos of 7 screams modern family

It's a blend of late 90's early 2000's. Guess both were similar to a degree for the writers. The show episode 6 is based on a show that technically started in the 90's.
Last episode was also based on Full House which ran until 1995. Also, this episode is sort of like ALF, at least talking about the intro.

They're doing iconic family sitcoms. The only iconic family sitcoms from the 90's were maybe the Nanny (which is the entirely wrong vibe) or black sitcoms like Fresh Prince or Family Matters which they obviously wouldn't do parodies of. A lot of the other big family sitcoms of the decade started airing in the 80's and are therefore very similar in vibe to 80's sitcoms. Malcolm in the Middle started a new (different) wave of shows and its production began in the late 90's, so I think it fits. This episode IS very 90's, with just some early 2000's added in as well. Next episode will prob be a take on Modern Family which is also a crossover of the 2000's and 2010's. But it's not the years it came out which is most important, it's that it represents a completely new take on the television family sitcom.
