- Tom and Ob break out the camera for the now usual Sunday unboxing and don't stop for nearly two hours.
BOILERPLA... ER, GENERAL INFO:
Tom, Deb, and Ob would like to thank everyone who have been kind enough to send in gifts. Seriously, you guys are just the best.
I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes even more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world Tom or Ob would be able to engage with everyone in the comment section, but alas the world is far from perfect. Tom doesn't know how (and refuses to learn) and Ob is something of a Luddite.
FAQ & A:
Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever. Seriously, he still calls TH-cam "the U-TOOBZ".
Tom's personal email is: herrwittmann@gmail.com
You can also call him if you prefer (856-866-8733) between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM, EST. This may be slightly more difficult because he's forever running around away from his desk, but it's worth a shot.
Q: I have a amusing anecdote, scathing criticism, or heartfelt compliment that I deeply need to express and I require / demand / long for a personalized response! What should I do?!
A: See "A" above.
Again, Tom's email is: herrwittmann@gmail.com

The man himself, the legend. Mr. Wittmann I have not missed a single episode. This is my favorite thing to watch.
Mr .Wittman, I think I speak for everyone when I say if we had a complaint it is that the episdoes aren't longer! There's always a pause button, if we need to go meet the pretty girl down the street we can always resume the video later:)
Don't apologize for long videos. We can stop and restart it when we need to. Better to have more than not enough eye candy. I'm a big fan of variety of militaria and other items. Collecting is multi faceted.
Morning coffee and watching the man drinking and smoking nothing better 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Adolf Von Kliest ended up being a Luietenant General after all his promotions in his career. He fixed in 1957. He was part of the 2nd world war. Great show, just thought I would let you know about him.
Wonderful video and a joy to watch! Keep them up regardless of length! Longer the better!
Thanks Mr. Wittmann
Always Enjoy Your Unboxing Videos ..
Wie immer, interessante Sachen !!!
So glad y’all brought the decanter down there. We are all having a drink and a smoke watching you guys. Cheers
Love the long ones, & the stories too Wittmann, keep it up !!! Great stuff !!
Mr. Wittmann,
Both writers of that book are living in the Netherlands. Danny and Ger are friends of my and they have a wide knowledge of different types off daggers.
lol i knew he was going to buy that sword. The guy loves Imperial.
That baton looks exactly like the ones that the polizi. carried in the late 80s when I was stationed in Bamberg Germany. They never hesitated to pull them out and use them on drunk soldiers, who didn’t want to leave the clubs at closing time.
Bundes Scheissen !!! LMAO 🤣 Mr. Wittmann, another great video with interesting stories!
Mr.W you are a wonderful storyteller!I think their quality matches the fascinating wares you present
‘semper talis’ means always the same and was the motto of Prussian Guards formations.
Looking mighty snazzy in that flowered shirt Tom!
A nice program as always, I really hope we will se and hear the black and red corvette-it is a absolutely a killer😀👍
Oscar Prinz was Prussian. Great Grandfather was Wilhelm II.
Thankyou for telling that great story! Amazing
Love to see your videos, its like x-mass every time 😊😊 🥃🥃👍🏻⚡️⚡️
The last HJ Knife is a good representation of what oil can do over time to darken a blade. This is why I am fearful of using oil on blades when storing them, especially in the scabbard. If you control humidity and avoid finger contact to the blade surface, oil or grease is not necessary IMO.
Mr Wittmann, there is no such thing as a long video, love all of them, and I never miss them, Thanx!
Great video Mr Wittmann 👍🏻
1:29:00 it is dagger presented to the officers of the Ottoman army by the war minister of Ottoman Empire Enver Pasha dring WW1. Dagger called Enveriyye. All other awards were presented on the behalf of Sultan, except Gallipoli star medal and this dagger. They were given on the behalf of war minister.
The web belt without the buckle, looks like an older version of the Bundeswehr belt, but so does the other belt with the buckle!
I love that chained SS dagger, it’s funny how you KNOW you have to explain to potential buyers about how cleaning it would wash away the history which it would. Please make sure whoever buys it understands this!!!
I am a non drinker, but please enjoy your drink. Now lets enjoy the video.
Items over the top today
Love the videos, and I agree they aren’t long enough!
Time to reach up into the basement rafters for that bottle of "Old Barn Owl Bourbon". If the Depression was not coming I would want to spend a few dollars......
It's not a wolf, it's a deer stag with antlers!!!
i like longer videos
the videos are never too long i always enjoy them. most great items sometimes you got some stinkers in the lot but i love the videos.
The Tiger HJ knife must be 68, 66 is Eickhorn...
Another interesting show with many different collectibles. See you next week!
Looking good Tom👍
Daggers with the birds and yellow on them I am not sure what they are but the logo for the 101st Cavalry for the US Army.
Adolf von Kleist was a Generalleutnant in WW2, he died 1957
And the NSDAP in Gold is 93116
There is no 4 and no 7 in it😂
@@hanswerner321If I gave you a number could you tell me who it belonged to? I have one from my oma but she can’t remember who it belonged to. And I can’t find anything online
The number is 85657
@@hanswerner321 Nicely done! That's a pretty big fish..
Richard Wendler (22 January 1898 - 24 August 1972) was a high-ranking Nazi official during World War II. During the occupation of Poland, he was the Governor of new District Lublin in the General Government, in charge of Lublin concentration camp and the creation of the Częstochowa Ghetto, among others. Before his deployment to Poland, he was the mayor of the city Hof between 1933 and 1941 and became an SS-Gruppenführer in 1942 during the murderous Operation Reinhard.[1] Wendler's sister was married to a brother of Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler[2]
Prost Mr Wittmann. Grüsse aus Leipzig
Just like to add, I stopped the video to research Von Klien, not realising that it would be added to your video by you. Absolutely love all your videos and you and Arb can have as many drinks or taking as long as you like to bring these fantastic video's. Anyone who has or is moaning. Then I suggest you go elsewhere and see if you can find anything that comes close on how all your video's are produced by yourselves. You shouldn't have to apologise or justify anything that you bring to the public, may I say "FREE", and very knowledgeable. If you don't like it. Then end your viewing and crack on elsewhere to find what your looking for. This father n son duo, bring a brilliant format of what they have spent most of their lives, collecting and bringing to the world a very special knowledge and true accounts of the life of being part of this amazing shows of their collection and very interesting part of our history. Keep up the great shows you bring to us Mr Whitman and your son Rob, who is better known to viewers, as Arb. I've been an avid follower since I stumbled across you on here about 5 yrs ago. All you idiots that moan and criticise, are truly not wanted and keep your snide comments to yourself. Sorry for going on Mr. Whitman, but it had to be said. All the best. Phil Colley, from England. If you get the time, can you give me a shout out.
Sorry for spelling your surname wrong. Mr. Whitman.
Love this video and the number was 93116 not 4 just fyi! Love you guys!!
I’m new to the channel and really enjoy the videos. I noticed.at 55:40 a picture of a pilot on the wall is that Bruce Dickenson?
on the RLB dagger the dents around the emblem look like they're from an original badge that was replaced with the current one.
The best story is the one about .. can’t remember the names but the guy had a new wife and the one guy was creeping about on a makeshift platform outside the window .. it’s worth telling again
Stahlruten blitz. The sicherheitspolizei had them marked sipo on the pommel. I believe they didn't use unmarked ones so can be east German?
Delayed peeper orbit,excellent start
Items don't have to be perfect to be enjoyed.
Очень нравятся твои видео не пропускаю не одного
Kriegsmarine dagger might belong to Franz Maria Leidig. Ww1 and ww2
Good video as always but sorry to correct you, the book Heeresdolche from Ger Hessels is a Dutch guy not a German...
👍💯
That Navy dagger could that be from Franz Maria Liedig?
He was a Kriegsmarine officer and member of the military resistance against Adolf Hitler.
93116 on the gold party badge guys.
Дед красавчик!
Also that Is called an ASP.
1:20:13 - I think that looks like finnish "puukko".
Where I'm from we call the item at 1:27:47 a telescopic cosh.
Some people will do anything to decive someone just for money. Bad for the hobby.
😢 привет из Израиля
Badge 93116 not 43116
I think I know what bothers people about the drinking; ; it’s the ice cubes rattling around in the background reminding them they can’t have a good belt for whatever reason. Probably dry drunks or AAA members who it kills to hear you guys sloshing down the hooch! Either that or 1/2 the videos are you and Ob getting liquored up!
First! lol
