Loved the exchange of conversation between you, "ob". This is how new folks learn things... On a side note, Please stop worrying about about some folks negative comments! Nobody is forced to watch your very enjoyable presentations.
Greetings and cheers 🍻 from Orlando, Florida Mr. Whitman and #1 son Rob! I am a huge fan of your most informative videos and unboxings, keep em’ coming, Godspeed!
The Wittmann entering the scene in his ride, making the engine purr like a tiger, well, a Hollywood start !!! And again a great show, with lots of different stuff. Keep having a good time doing these vids, that's what it is all about :-) Thank you guys !!
A VERY nice start of the video, to see and hear this fine Corvette made me happy. I understand of the engine sound that the engine has a sharpe and potent cam. (Maybe some street race?! 😎) We can really hear the heartbeat of the strong genuine America! Thank you for letting us see this treasure “live”😀👍
Much better that the '53 Chevy you used to drive. 😁 You should take that it to the Johnson's Farm Friday Night Classic Car Cruise and BBQ. Is there any way to clean up those blades, as on the first dagger you showed and should you clean it up? When you put a incorrect dagger back into the scabbard correctly, isn't the dagger portepee then ever tied wrong? You can see how the war is going by the quality of the suppliers product. A video full of good advice. Nice job. Your expertise is priceless.
I don’t drink or smoke a pipe but I make an exception for when I’m watching these videos. Also the vey natural banter between father and son is priceless, add in the knowledge both the gentlemen have and you got gold Jerry.
Fun fact: the Corvette is named after a small warship going all the way back to the age of sail. Corvette class is usually used for anti-submarine actions these days. BTW as an Orthodox Christian that does resemble old Bible covers i have seen. More than likely was the main Bible of one of the Churches itself.
Hi Team Wittmann! Being newer to the hobby, I very much appreciate the time you guys take to teach and explain the details of the items. A guy could get stuck with a piece of junk for lack of a little knowledge. Thanks for providing it!
Solingen Germany was a sword making hub in the mid 1800s and pumping out armed weapons like swords. They were exporting them to the US for the American Civil War.
I love your Vette. I was wondering what the year was? Rob thanks for asking the question about RZM numbers. I never knew any of that, and now they make sense.
I bought an excellent condition sword once and didn’t fully remove the blade 😮because the price was very enticing 😮The last third of the blade was wobbly 😮. I did manage to remove the bends and it luckily came back to a perfect state where you cannot tell it once had bends. It was also misidentified to an officer but I did find the correct officer who actually had a much better military history 😊
I was at a flea market years ago that a bunch of us collectors used to haunt. Ran across 3 imperial Germán swords for 50.00 each. Lucky I pulled them all the way out of the scabbards as all 3 were broke off half way down the blade. About an hour later a collector buddy of mine came running up to me with them in his hands beaming from ear to ear. I told him I had seen them earlier and did he pull them all the way out. He said why as he slid one out to see the broken blade. He said are they all like that, I said yep. Last I saw of him he was running back to get a refund. This was about 30 years ago.
I'm always amazed at the amount of "merchandise" the Nazis made. They used resources to make a specific Luftwaffe spoon? How did the find they time to fight a war?
@@erichl1167 I’m the guy who duracoated his Marlin 30/30 olive drab and flat dark earth ,😅 bit of a travesty really… 🤷♂️ had to be done, before that I’d never seen one that color, what can I say, I like to blend the old with the new. 🕺 Also I don’t think it’d hurt it and it could even protect from road debris. OhNO😆No, no, no, no, no... ~your "culture" of ""ppl"" leads you down a primm Rose path with Rose colored galasses on. In other words, what you call 'trendy, "new and improved"...I call the rvpe of the natural world as we know it. So, uh, um...there you go.🦊🚬
I’m ready to see a random video thrown up of his personal goodies! Anybody else????
The wrecks are interesting too as collectors can see what to look out for and what can oddly break.
Wow, that's a nice motor Tom. Looks great and sounds even better.......!!!
Black red and silver, my favourite colour combination.
Wow, what a great channel. I’m new to collecting WW2 items and the wealth of knowledge that Mr. Tom has is priceless. Thank you Sir
Love the surprise showing of your classic car. Wittmann you not only have good taste in militaria but also in cars.

I LOVE that it is a driver and not a show car. They were built to drive.

Neat car. It’s a classic for sure. I’d probably keep it like it is and maybe organize things in it a little more.
nice video with some interesting items and daggers. nice corvette too!! thanks for the info too
Amazing gorgeous Corvette!
Time for a relaxing glass of "Old Barn Owl" bourbon. I would ask - why the stout blade on the Red Cross hewer and the cheap pot metal hilt?
Guilty over here! I drink right along with you two. 😊

The seal says something like The Staatliche Museen Berlin! The museum is still going strong. I wonder if this was a legitimate war booty!

The 1967 big block hood scoop looks hideous.
The wittmann videos are great. Love watching it.
What year is the Corvette ? Nice episode and thx u 😊😊
Wise words Wittmann
Corvette ⚡️⚡️. 😂😂😎
I expected him to open up a trunk full of daggers.
☝️😘my vote for best comment
Me to!
I like the corvette! 283 sounds like a small motor but those dual quads give it some muscle! A '59?
Top show I look forward every episode
Lovely car Tom, but was it the video, as all you heard was a rattle on tic over. Purred lovely when you hit the gas, and no rattling sound.

Nice Vette
What was the last SS dagger produced?
How much for The Corvette? Beautiful car! Was that a manual transmission in it??
My kind of Vett. Sounds like muscle!
George Burns lived to be one hundred smoking 6 cigars a day and drinking whiskey every evening for god knows how long.

Its not stupid to trust someone one time-two times is on the border.
I Will be your bartender for free👍🏻🤓🥃
I’d wrap the car, it’s probably cheaper to get it wrapped and it’d probably protect the car better.

The stamp represents the State Museum Berlin. Probably the Pergamon Tom.
That is one sweet ride Mr.W. For sale?😂😂😂
