This is insanely awesome, I've been trying to decide between this and a mesa mini rec. After seeing this video, I think its the Friedman that wins out.

This episode, you're showing us some great stuff along the fretboard. Nicely done--I hope I can approach that sound a little bit one of these days.

For a Killer sounding two channel amp I can use in my home, the studio and live at gigs with an XLR out, it's very reasonably priced. Great video and thankfully, I will not have to send mine back!!

So this always has a dummy load built in? I'm just wondering because if you wanna use your own cab IR's do you just go from the speaker out to your Hi-Z In or (DI Box--->Interface)(I only have line in's on my interface so that's what I would do) Or is there a way to turn off the built in cab sim? I just ordered one yesterday. My KSR Orthos and Ceres are my baby but I wanted something Marshall esq . Everyone bitching about it being too much when its really comparable to other made in the U.S. amps of this size.
Killer demo! I've been trying to compare the different 20 watt Friedman amps to get me a great plexi-like classic rock to early VH tone. Would you day this is good at that? It seems to be the most versatile of their offerings.

I did email Friedman about 3 weeks ago and was told "testing and shipping as fast as possible"..I was caught off guard when I got the shipping notice and tracking number..look at AMS right now..they show 1 IN STOCK now..but that won't last long so hurry !

That song rocked. And that amp can’t help but hear the quality there, notably a step above the rest. I’m tempted to treat myself. Way over the top for me, $3k in Australia, and I’m not that great, but wow. Never had a good amp in my life, maybe I should treat myself with this beast.

@@mountain7777 yeah I got the Friedman Runt 20. Its beautiful, I love it, so glad i did get it and not just a marshall or something like that. No regrets, get one.

Are those fried man ax's really worth the retail? Is it the neck or electronics. I confused. I bought a lot of nice guitars and screwed up some money looking for a tone. Well I found the tone and paid off the cards sold some nice guitars. So are they worth it? Thanks,Tex.
The only thing stopping me from buying this amp after playing it for the first time is the fact that I want to play through a mini silver jubilee before my final decision but those are my two dedicated options for that stripped back rock and roll along with the extra heavy, crisp tonal options
