How To: Create Laminated Envelopes

By popular demand, here is how I have created envelopes that have been laminated, to both make them last longer and also to use them in different ways!

Laminating Pouches - I got these ones from Aldi a very long time ago, and they are no longer available. Any laminating pouch will do, you could also use A4 ones and cover more than one envelope at a time :)

Great idea. Wondering if it simpeler to laminate a open envelop (make the folds before laminating); meaning laying it open and flat in the sheets? I do the same for my Daphne's Diary cover! Works like a charm!😊

Plum_Mashable I'm pretty happy considering it was my first attempt! The cutting it open was a little sloppy, but it's not noticeable so I'm not too concerned 😁
I bought the vanskap PLB after seeing your video on it, so I used one of their super cute envelopes! ☺️

Thanks for sharing your tips.....great to have another way I can put my laminator to good use. Just to let you know, Sunnybank K mart does not have the rose gold planner in stock at present. I did enquire and they may be getting it in over the next two to three weeks.....but not certain!

Do you think this could work if you used that clear dura seal stuff (that you use to cover school books)? I unfortunately don't own a laminating machine :/

You could, but I don't think you'd get as good a result. Laminators are only $20ish from Officeworks, and laminating pouches aren't that much either. I think my laminator is one of my best investments :)

Are you looking at a expensive one, or just a basic one?

Plum_Mashable well I guess basic model, but with good features. 100 is good but harder to hide the spend lol lol. For now was looking at the 30 ones from Walmart by Scotch brand. Said it does up to 5 mm and 11 inches wide maybe 12. I just did not know what features r a must have. Me..i wld go right for the minc, husband my put me to the curb. Lol

If you grab one of the paper lovers books from Kikki.k they have these envelopes. I just then traced them out onto cardboard so that I had a more "durable" one. :)

Hi Mohammed. Do you mean like laminated cards that you'd use to learn something? I'd print them out on plain cardboard and then just laminate and cut them out. Happy to help if you need more guidance.
