Page Marker with Clear Pocket/Don't Need Target Pocket

- Hi Everyone!
No need for the Target Adhesive Clear Pockets anymore!!! Here, I share with you how to create a laminated Page Marker with a Clear Pocket. Have fun creating!
4 x 6 Page Marker ~ Additional laminating sheet 3 7/8"w x 3"h
5 x7 Page Marker ~ Additional laminating sheet 4 7/8"w x 3 1/2"h
Note~ If you'd like to make a different size other than the two sizes I shared, make sure the additional laminating is 1/8" less the the width of the design paper. The height can be any size you'd like. (Example~ If you want to make a page marker in the size 3"w x 5"h, the laminating sheet will be 2 7/8"w x 2 1/2"h.)

Well darn, I got so tired of waiting to find those Target pockets that I wound up buying some from Amazon last week (they're not cheap). I already have all the different size laminating sheets but never played around with trying to figure out how to make those work instead. Thanks for figuring it out for me!

Someone had linked your channel in a FB group I am in and I am so thankful they did! I've been wanting to make a page marker with a pocket after seeing so many videos featuring them and couldn't find those Target pockets every other tutorial out there mentioned. I've already made myself a 5x7 page marker and filled it with my stickers I wanted to show off.

You are the BEST at explaining things so us "newbies" can understand the how-to and how NOT to!! lol I love it when you take the time to explain WHY we shouldn't do something instead just saying don't do ...whatever. It is sooo helpful for me, who is drooling over everybody's cute traveler or just journal and I am NOW addicted!!!! I keep watching and watching as I am so intimidated to make my first TN! I know I have to get over it, make one and possibly make mistakes. I am going to follow your tutorial on making your B6 TN I think it is called. I am going on a trip in spring of 2018 and hope to have a nice one made by then. LOL!!!

Christy of Scarlet Lime Planner Society posted on IG, that her next kit will include the small pockets ( her own design. But similar to Target's). I'm subscribed so I'm super excited to see them. But delivery is weeks away and I have all the supplies you showed, so I'm gonna give designing my own a try. Thanks for the inspiration.

I was a teacher and you can also just put another piece of paper the size of the pocket put inside when laminating and cut open pocket.

Debbie Alberts You're welcome! The two TN's on right are from The Planner Society. It's a monthly planner kit that I'm subscribed to. Every so often Christy will have TN's available to purchase to her subscribers. Tfw!

I have the same laminater and I’m on my second one sometimes the sheets wrap around the inside and I have to pull it out 😲 anyone els have this issue ?

Just bought that same laminator for $17 at Walmart where the shipping labels and packing pater was at. In the crafting dept. it was $2 dollars more, go figure.
I was at Walmart the other day and an employee was explaining to a new employee that they price the same items differently depending on where it is placed in the store, so that was no accident. Apparently it's Walmart policy.

Why don't you put the pocket on the outside instead of underneath? Won't that work as well?
Louise Johnson Both of the matte side of the laminate sheet have to face each other in order to make the pocket. If I place it in top, it will just laminate them together without being able to create the pocket.
