    I have to say you crack me up! I love your videos. I went out and bought a planner just so I could make all your laminated pockets, I like them so much. Could you please tell me what size you made the 6 pieces of card stock you used here for the inserts. Thanks and keep the laminated ideas coming, I'm loving them.

    Hello, some questions, I got the one u have from Wal-Mart but when I did this ran through 1 on 5 mil like u using 3 mil it had hazy blotches all over ran through again no change, not sure why but the pouch I was using as the one that came in the lamatie box with the machine. 3 mil setting ran twice was still fizzy not come out clear at all, maybe I got a defective on idk, but I try in make one with a 3/4 on one side then pocket hold a 3 by 4 card. What am I doing wrong had so many ideas to do things for the pockets but they not coming out I'm so disappointed n sad

    • @ErinsGottaPlan
      @ErinsGottaPlan  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      chop master I always set it to the 5mil heat. The more I run it through the haze goes away. When I’ve had a bad batch of laminating pouches they stayed fuzzy

    Do the cards ever slide between the laminate and front of the cardstock instead of under the cardstock into the pocket?

    • @ErinsGottaPlan
      @ErinsGottaPlan  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Holly Belle I’ve never had an issue the laminate adhere to the paper.

    I wonder if you or anyone would have some tips. I am new to doing crafts. I wanted to do something similar with binder labels. The type of labels that you put on the spine of a binder so you can label what is in it. You stick a small piece of paper in it.
    When I laminated it, I could not open the holder to put a label inside. It was like the lamination held it tightly closed even though I cut it back open. Do you think it would work if I inserted a label inside before I laminated everything? How many labels would I have to insert to keep it open? Or is this idea not going to work at all? Or does this even make sense ☺ would I need to laminate something that was thicker? I can't use your method because I need it to be clear. Thanks!

    • @ErinsGottaPlan
      @ErinsGottaPlan  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      brendalg4 I have two videos up that might help. You’ll need to make a clear pocket for the labels to go in. Try this video th-cam.com/video/vDgFWRVRSaM/w-d-xo.html and this one th-cam.com/video/Zte1kGrLxE4/w-d-xo.html

      @@ErinsGottaPlan thanks for the reply! Actually I found out that I was just trying to cut the pockets open wrong... it did actually work. Only problem was I had already ruined the lamination and most of the spine labels I used trying to figure out what was going on.
      The spine labels already are pockets.

    What about for an a5 ring binder.

    • @ErinsGottaPlan
      @ErinsGottaPlan  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have used it in the front of an A5 at this size - I have also just made one with the card slots longer but didn’t like it.You could use a larger base price and add just the pockets to one side and have room for small posters on the edge.

    When you cut the pockets, how do you not cut through the other side? Or do you just cut lightly so that it doesn't cut through the other side? Thanks

    • @ErinsGottaPlan
      @ErinsGottaPlan  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Michelle Hernandez cut lightly. You’ll fell it slice the plastic layer. Start light you can always go over it again.

    First let me say I always appreciate it when crafters share their techniques. I did suffer to the end because your product is good. However, it is annoying looking at an empty desk. You stated that you do not edit your video, please have all your tools and equipment to hand so that your videos are informative but not frustrating. Drink your second cup of coffee before recording or posting.
