- This video explains every Cart Titan in the Attack on Titan anime and manga. The Cart Titan is one of 9 titan shifters in AOT and there have been several iterations of it throughout the AOT timeline. In the AOT manga we have currently seen more Cart titans than in the anime, which has only had 1 Cart Titan so far (Pieck Finger). The manga displays Cart Titans of the past, such as the Okapi titan and the Wolf cart titan.

In this video I explain every Cart Titan in the history of the Attack on Titan.
When the cart titan was first introduced in the manga it looked different to how it later appeared and the reason was that this manga version was a man called Oliver Pieck. Isayama released sketches of Oliver Pieck’s face online. By the time the cart titan was shown in the anime, Pieck had already been firmly established as a woman in the source material, so it meant that Oliver Pieck’s titan never appeared on-screen.
The cart titan is the only shifter that walks on all fours besides the jaw titan and it’s main ability is it’s endurance. This endurance manifests itself in various ways, with an example being how Pieck remains in her titan form for months at a time. In the Marley arc she needed a crutch to walk because she’d been the cart titan for two months straight, so she’d forgotten how to walk on her human legs. That’s why Pieck was lying down during the warriors meeting instead of sitting up like the rest of them and also why she was caught by Porco Galliard crawling on all fours.
Another use for the cart titans endurance is its ability to do consecutive titan transformations. When it comes to the cart titan, Pieck confirmed in attack on titan chapter 137 that the cart titan can do hundreds of consecutive transformations. Additionally, the cart titan can be equipped with cargo, armor, and/or weapons. On top of all that, running on all fours gives it an incredible speed, enabling it to catch Levi and Hanji by surprise and save the lives of her fellow warriors in the process. Anyway with all that said, let’s get into the backstory of Pieck Finger, followed by a look at the ancient cart titans throughout history.
Pieck is a Marlyean warrior from the Liberio internment zone. From a young age Pieck was raised by her father alone, with her mother never being mentioned once in the series. Whilst she was still a child her father was overcome with a serious illness, but as poor eldians they didn’t have access to the necessary medical care to treat it. This served as Pieck’s primary motivation to join the Marlyean warrior unit, as warrior families are given good proper medical care, most likely because they are honorary marlyeans. Pieck was chosen as the cart titan. When the time came for Marley to invade Paradis island, Zeke and Pieck were chosen by the army to stay behind in Liberio because their presence was needed to deter enemy nations. Five years into the mission Marley hadn’t heard anything from Reiner, Annie and Bertolt, so the two remaining warriors went to visit the island along with a few Marlyean soldiers. The cart titan was used to carry many supplies, including this special gas containing Zeke’s spinal fluid, which turned the people of Ragako into titans.
A couple months later she was utilised again during the battle of shiganshina, as it was Pieck that observed the survey corps soldiers the night before, and informed the warriors that the scouts were approaching. In the battle itself she was used as a means of transporting cargo such as rocks or the colossal titan, but her biggest achievement was when she singlehandedly saved the lives of both Zeke and Reiner respectively.
The first ancient titan we should talk about is Okapi cart titan, which swallowed Armin in the same manner that Pieck swooped in to save Zeke. I didn’t actually know what an okapi was until this titan made an appearance, but according to google it is a relative of the giraffe and there are only 22,000 currently in the world. Throughout history the heads of cart titans have always had animalistic features, with Pieck’s one having a face shaped like a mule, while the first cart titan in history had a mouth like a horse. - บันเทิง

I find it interesting that along her hundreds of consecutive transformations, she has been the only titan shifter I think we've seen use her steam to eject herself out of her titan making it hard to wound her human body meaning she can normally always transform no matter if she gets trapped in titan form or not, as long as she's able to escape out the nape she's fine. Her titan is super ugly but super powerful.
With her consecutive transformation she can caught anyone by surprise.....she was really strong in last fight....I want to see it animated....

@@spicyicy7922 Not all, Colossus and Armored titan would be too heavy for cart titan. As for Attack and female titan, their ability is more useful for them on the ground. And for the warhammer, we should not forget they have cord, it could limit their movements.
Since warhammer takes alot of energy and cart has a lot of energy they would cancel each other and then warhammer would just stay for a normal period of time

I remember when i wondered why Pieck looked like she went to weeks without sleeping to finish an assignment but i figured out it was because of Ymir's curse and how she had it for 11 years on top of how she goes MONTHS in her titan form.
I like Pieck being such a small woman, she constrasts with her titan form so much. When I realized she was the Cart Titan I was like "how could that ugly uncanny thing be such a lovely woman?". I loved my own reaction, if I was writting something I'd love to cause the same reaction on other people!

@@beruze5342 She has proven her titan is super capable of fighting more than hundreds of titans especially since she can constantly transform and use steam to eject herself far away from her titan body. That means if she is grabbed in titan form and her nape is exposed she can just eject from it and transform again, it makes her titan super cool and it's one of my favorites as well for that reason, her titan seems underwhelming when in reality it's super strong.

5:06 Pieck actually has hardening, it's confirmed that every shifter can Learn how the hardening ability, and on the Shinganshina arc she crawled the wall with her titan body, and every titan needs hardening to do this (even the armored)

Considering that that bottle was labeled as “armor” it might come from Armored Titan. Reiner is an Armored Titan so he should be aware of existence of such bottles. Reiner didn’t say something like “every Titan can learn hardening, but Eren managed to do this in two months”, did he?

There’s probably nothing more to it other than pointy ears just being a thing that runs in the Grisha bloodline.
Grisha is Zekes & Erens father, maybe Grishas bloodline as a titan were all just destined to have pointy ears.
You can also see that Zeke inherited his dads body in beast titan form. Long arms, chonky muscular torso. Eren on the other has the body of a greek god. Eren probably got that body from Carla (his mom) who probably would have had a Greek god bod as a titan as well.

The cart titan is really growing on me... not sure if its best girl pieck, the actual battle scenes, or something else but it doesn't look as weird and unpowered as it used to to me
i literally thought that it wasn't a shifter at first and that marley had somehow tamed a pure titan, then i was confused because it seemed to have literally no unique qualities, but after they revealed that it has insane stamina and can transform pretty much an infinite amount of times, yeah it definitely isn't underpowered anymore

I always respected the cart Titan a lot because it’s very user dependent. It could be really useful or useless. It may not be the big gun either but you can like literally give it big guns 😂. I like when the holder gives the Titan form power more than when it’s the opposite.

Thank you for addressing what an Okapi was. There were debates within the AOT fandom on whether or not it would've been easier to just call it a pig or something.
It's a bit narrow minded to toss away the existence of a precious animal's name away like that and not acknowledge the existence at all and censor it with something else. They are just as important as any other species on the planet and they deserve to be known.

When it comes to titans, me amd my siblings have our favourites. Cart being the one my brother would want.
He designed it to be little taller than most from the ground, standing on 6-7m high and he thought it would be cool, if it could swim, thanks to it's crocodile-like design.
Also, it would be able to speak.
As for the endurance it shows no signs of having armor, but it would be capable of carrying the armored titan (Which we agreed would be my titan, lol)
But, when it comes to the titans we chose, here are the titans and some design elements in case someone wants to use as inspiration.
You can also choose to ignore this or possibly tell about your designs.
Me: Armored, 16-17m, compressed muscles, visible armor-like hardening on arms and foot, white shell-like hardening on chest and back. Bony jaw and flesh above and under the eyes. Hollow chest and doll-like joints. Messy black hair.
My twin: Colossal, 50 meters, mostly skin colored with flesh showing up under the arms and back of it's thighs. White hardening forming a struckture around it's body and supporting it. While shorter and more slender than most colossals, capable of 'Fast walk' and climbing.
Eldest brother: Cart, 6-7m, skin colored with long crocodile mouth, separated foot and arms (doll-like joints) and large claws. Also has a long tail with crocodile-like nostrils and blue crocodile's eyes. Long brown hair and beard going under the whole jaw.
Younger sister: War hammer, 15m, most likely almost entirely covered in white with open mouth. (She got rather recently invested as we begun watching the first season again. Will update when gets better idea)
Youngest brother: Jaw, 5m, either has scull-like face, long red hair and larger claws on hands and foot with tiny body or Beast/Jaw, a cat-like titan with larger claws, tooth and more fur. Possibly with hair.
(Brother got a bad habit as of recently and begun snaching our cats while they were chilling or napping and taking them with him.
Also, he started playing Skyrim and plays as Khajiit)
Mother: Beast or Founding titan, either a dragon-like titan with dragon head and all or a slightly darker titan slightly resembling female titan with darker hair and more muscles.
Sounds nice considering this Titans are baffed with others, so they are hybrids. What do you mean by “doll joints”? I also think Beast can’t be a dragon because we have no evidence that dragons existed in AoT world, there were dinosaurs. Lizards or komodo dragon are possible

'Doll joints' look like the titan's limbs were separate pieces intead of the normal.

If used correctly the cart can do the same movements like the jaws titan and it has a pretty strong mouth which means it can be used as if it were a jaws
Another example for relatives having similar titan features is how all of the Yeagers have pointed ears.

I think Oliver Pieck wouldve been a solid character! different from the younger guys, could show that old people like Xavier could get a titan,, played a slick old tactician, being experienced and it shows in battle, sneaking into Paradis and ending up being a whole badass

we don't know. Those cart titans shown in the video with animal traits may just be beast titans. So far we've known that ONLY beast titans have animal characteristics ....or some titans that are combinations of beast and others.

Hey Turtle Quirk.👋 You know I actually discovered your channel a while ago because of your MHA theories and I just gotta say I adore all of them. Hopefully when Season 5 comes around and even if you're keeping up with the manga you might do some more. Either way, your theories got me wondering about a question, one I have been trying to find an answer too and if you're reading this I would appreciate your input on the matter.
Basically I have a story I'm concocting very slowly about an alternate timeline for the MHA world. One where the society of heroes has lost all sense of resilience by the public. It keeps to a similar plot kinda like Xmen days of future past, where society is hunting down and looks to rid the world of quirks because they are seen as dangerous. My main question though is for my own custom hero in the story. His name is Ideji Nikanae and his hero name is Malestrom. His quirk has been the most difficult thing for me to figure out however. Basically it's like the telekinesis in Star Wars which has the potential to manipulate objects, enhance physical abilities, that kinda stuff. My biggest problem is how to get the power to be no so overpowered if you know what I mean. Any suggestions on the matter?🤔

Anyone ever notice cart jaw and beast titans all tend to blend together feature wise? I think this leads back to the original interiors after ymir being her 3 daughters. I think back then there were 3 titan shifters, one of them being some hybrid of beast jaw and cart. I think the other 2 may have been Some combos of the remaining 6. My theory as to those combos is armor, warhammer and some third I can't guess simce armor and warhammer both use hardening the most and attack and founding due to their significance plus some third I also can't figure out.
I'm curious to how they get animal like features from the Titans like how do they put animal blood with spinal fluid is the how it works???
we don't know yet. To me all those titans with animal characteristics are just Beast titans and not cart titans. The combination of titans is something relatively new and a feature of Zeke due to his royal blood (hence Falco being a jaw beast titan)
