As a truck guy from Sweden,I would say that you Suzuki is powered by a small gas powered car engine,so never drive it slowly like a diesel truck because it creates very less torque,so your truck can only wade through snow because of the great acceleration your truck has so it will start instantly and cross the snow ,and always go in the constant speed to build up momentum to keep going and whenever you wind thick uneven snow ,before that instance only you must press the gas pedal and wade through the snow,otherwise this is one of the best off-road vehicles,I have seen many such trucks in India wading nicely through snow at high speeds and instant torque distribution to keep going and it left many SUVs behind,great off-road vehicle,best wishes🙂

Thanks for showing us such beautiful side of Spiti. I am planning a winter spiti ride too. What problems did you have because of cold? Like fever, numbness in feet and hands. How were you able to charge your devices, I've heard that electricity is not there after heavy snowfall.
It is quite difficult in Winter if there is heavy snowfalls like this. Yes you can get high altitude sickness, fever but 6 tablets of diamox, 2 tablet each days can prevent sickness. You have to carry power chargers and solar chargers.

You can find snow again from October. Though we are going end of September, so hopefully get to see snow in some places...
If you want to avoid snow, than June to September or maximum till Oct 15th.

Your country isnt himalayas. This is a different level of adventure, even during summers, spiti is not a layman's drive.

bro spiti valley Kahan hai and ye kitni door hai Shimla ya Manali se , I also want to see large amount of snow as in vedio so what would be the best season ?
Shimla se Spiti jane main 10 hours and Manali se Spiti 5 hours lagta hain. December and January main you can see large amount of Snow but that time road block hone ka bhi maximum chances raheta hain as you can see in this video.
It's just too risky to travel in winter or anytime before March.

Dont visit himachal in winters.. Its risky .. Always come here in summers when temp here is quite low than rest of world .. Daily i see news coming up of deaths of outsiders either due to snow or accidents .. Real beauty of himachal lies in summer when its green .. In snow you will barely see anything other than white ..
People here are very helpful , they always help outsiders but you have to be smart yourself as well .. Dont bring marutis here .. Always get a 4*4 ... Drive slowly , don't overtake and yeah always stop for giving stop to big vehicles .. Drivers hate here if you dont stop for big vehicles
