@@OhLordyG Well, interesting one....he never really knew his father. Unless he's subconsciously copied his manner through watching his TV programmes?....I don't think he's that similar. He's passionate and Australian (obviously) but he comes across as fairly calm compared to Steve.
@@DistantCousin Many mannerisms and traits are inherited through genes. I do agree Robert is more calm, no doubt, but he has a lot of his fathers ways.

I agree Robert and Bindi were raised amazingly they're both so respectful and don't cuss and don't drink, like think of all the things boys at the age of 17 and then think of all the things Robert is doing at 17 it's absolutely incredible!
I agree Steve would be so proud of him . The fact he loves what he does shows he takes after his amazing dad. It is amazing to see
@@savigonzalez9171 We don't know what they do off camera but on camera they're pretty perfect. Creds to Terri for none of her kids having a mental breakdown or drug abuse, that we so often see in child stars.

Yeah but like that's not a good thing. His father literally died cause of being reckless. And this dude grew up seeing how everyone glorified his father for what eventually led to his dad. So, he acts the same way. And he literally risks his life for no reason cause of that.
@@user-mb3dx5fl9f he wasn’t being reckless he was just doing his job. I’ve actually worked with stingrays as a snorkel guide and swam with them every day and they’re pretty docile I guess his number was just up when the ray hit him. He actually would have survived had he left the barb in instead of pulling it out.
@@stevenstiffler6848 So you tell me had he acted in a wiser and more correct way that was more based on the appropriate safety rules he would have survived? If so, my friend, you just confirmed that he was being reckless.
Cause you literally admitted that has he acted in another safer and more correct way he would have been okay.

I said what he was doing was pretty routine and stingray attacks are extremely rare there’s only ever been 3 fatal stingray attacks in Australia and that’s including Steve. It was a freak accident that no one expected likely caused by the ray mistaking his shadow for a tiger shark and as for the barb being pulled out he wasn’t a medical expert and I can’t blame them for acting the way they did in a moment of panic.

You know, when Steve left us, I wondered who would be the next Steve. He was truly a gift to his fans and to his animals. Thankfully, it stayed in the family. God’s blessings to the Irwin family!

I could definitely see Steve in Robert. Some of his mannerisms are just so like his dad. Steve would be so proud of Robert.
He's becoming more and more the junior croc hunter we all believed he'd become every day.
He even has his father's energy and his way of speaking during a job. It's nice to see, but this kid has become one of his own. He took his grandfather and father's style, and really bloomed.
It's so impressive to see how calm he is around these beasts. He's made them not unlike an overly powerful puppy who loves you and keeps their distance. I applaud you and agree, they are beautiful
I grew up on Steve episodes and thanks to him I now work with my animals. It's great that I can continue watching you now 😉💪

Don't worry, he's also himself too. Unlike his father, he's more than happy to sit on the sideline and photograph them. But just remember, Steve died doing what he loved, and whilst it's still heartbreaking that he's gone, don't think he would've asked for a better way to go. He loved animals to pieces.

Steve would be so incredibly proud of his kids as well as his wife for for continuing to keep them on the right path. Steve Irwin was a childhood hero of mine and it warms my heart the legacy has been passed down. No one cared for animals like he did and I bet he wasn't even mad at the sting ray that got him. It's clear his children inherited this love for animals too.

People give the alligators a bad rap but they aren't out to hurt people. It's people encroaching on their habitats in the United States and not respecting the alligators.

Exactly @Crystal Novak, I live in south florida and some people down here hunt the gators just so they can have gator tail. It makes me so angry!! You know we have canals down here beside the roads and I've seen a few gators in the canals it's really cool.
Well we over preserved them so now theyre running rampant in the glades
@@Chrizton 2 milion in the whole state when in the 70s they almost went extinct due to hunting doesn't sound "overpreservation" to me, barely preservation, we are the ones overpopulating the area

I remember being 5-6yrs old watching Steve handling crocs and now I'm 20 watching his son doing the same. So wonderful that the kids have the same passion that their parents do for wildlife!
I don't watch that many Robert Irwin video's, still he is my number one hero.
He is because of only one reason, the respect and understanding for a wide scale of animals.
If only we people could learn to have the same respect and understanding for eachother, Robert would have reached the gratest archiement of man kind.
I want to say that I so appreciate the dedication and hard work of each family and crew member at your AUSTRALIA ZOO. I watch your uplifting videos daily and wish I was there to help! big shoutout to steve's friends who worked with him in the past for helping shape robert into the young man hes turned out to be.He missed out on his father's teaching but im glad he still had lots of support and encouragement to follow his dreams of honouring steve in the best possible way by giving this generation another great Irwin man in the hopes that robert will lead this generation in bettering the lives of endangered animals so that his niece and his own kids and the kids of tomorrow are able to see all these beautiful animals and creatures that roam around our planet.
Steve would be so proud of his kids. There are few that can move this world. Steve was one, his kids are another.

I used to watch Croc Files and anything else I could find, pertaining to Australia Zoo. My Brother and I used to watch in the late 90s as teenagers. He is gone now (since 2007), I heard a voice from my past and I asked, "Who is that talking to Fallon?" My wife replied "Robert Irwin". Leaned over and watched till commercial. Then came here. Finding this has given me a piece of myself back and I sincerely thank you. Hi Terry and Wes and everyone!
