While the woman dying in the attic wasn't flashy or anything, I'd say it's the most thematically appropriate kill in the movie. She dies alone and forgotten in the attic, left to rot like an old toy.

For once, I don't give a single shit about plot holes. For one man to do all that with essentially no money is an incredible feat on its own. I had not expected it to look this good. Someone finance this guy so he can keep doing stuff he's good at and obviously loves.
There were plot holes in this movie? I’ve watched it about 5 times but I don’t notice any plot holes. Then again I’m probably just too busy laughing at the comedy and going “Aw!” over how adorable Benny is to notice any plot holes.

The fact this dude made a whole movie using freaking xbox kinects of all things is insane. Imagine what he could do with an actual budget and a professional team. He's got some serious talent
As much as I’d like to think that he’d buy state of the art technology, we all know he’d probably buy 3 more Kinects, a few Wii remote plus, a Dsi, and one of those laser pens. And he’d still be able to make something that looks great.
Xbox kinects are actually pretty damn good for mocap and other things
Xbox Kinects are easily the most impressive things Microsoft ever made, they've been used for non-gaming purposes like military, airports, healthcare, 3D processing, etc because they're so cheap (anything else that does something similar to Kinects would have cost multiple times more). Funny that it sucked at its original intended usage (eg. gaming) but other industries soon found other uses for it to the point Microsoft started to sell them as non-gaming products.

You know this guy's talented when he does LITERALLY EVERYTHING in this movie by himself
And makes it look AMAZING
Robert Rodriguez has done this kind of thing before in his earlier movies regarding editing.
It's insane how this one guy with a home computer made vfx work that is actually quite decent. Meanwhile, entire teams of vfx artists with souped up special computers and millions of dollars can't make stuff look as good.
Not sure if Holt's a genius or the other people suck hard.
Wrong use of the word "literally."
@@youtube-kit9450 Maybe it's neither? The VFX work here isn't comparable to the massive workload something like Avengers: Infinity War has. Plus, Holt worked on the VFX for years. Kinects are actually really good for motion capture, I have no idea why kinects suck for games but whenever I see someone using it for motion capture it's like the patron saint of budget mocap hardware
@@rainbowtheranger The Kinect themselves are fine if I'm honest with ya, it probably have to do with the developers not fully utilizing its full potential, aside from few Kinect games which play fairly decent or even well at times.
I've heard an addon for Garry's Mod that lets you use Kinect to animate ragdolls through motion capture.
If you want to see any games that uses the Kinect properly, look no further than Dance Central. I've played all the games and not only are they genuinely fun, but the body tracking is very accurate. Especially in the third entry.

The 10 coworkers slaughter was my favorite ONLY BECAUSE there was this one brief moment demonstrating how savage Benny was and it's a quick moment that if you blink you miss it.
One guy gets a desk fan to his face which doesn't go totally over the top with his gore, probably just cuts up his nose just a bit if not off. Then a few frames later you see Benny's hand holding up a lemon squeeze bottle and proceeds to squirt the guy in his chopped nose.

Carl Holt really Toby Fox'd the hell out of this movie. Props to him, my god.
"Skeletonitis the bastard disease" is literally the funniest joke i've ever heard
20:56 James is about to get a Benny chestburster.
