Hi Henry. A South Korean start up called DURETEK just introduced a base bleed bullet design and patented it. SK army shocked at the test results and decided to designate these bullets.
Their 556 effective range was extended up to 1000m and 308 was 1200m. I think the company will export it to US market soon or a American manufacturer will produce it soon.
Can you make a video about it ??

Sad that I have to say this to what is more than likely a bunch of grown people but, keep it nice in the comments. Y’all are typing things that I know for a fact you wouldn’t tell people in person, so have enough security in yourself to not try & bring others down with you. In addition, typing away at how “incapable” these shooters are, and how easy you would make it look, is not how you get the invite out here… Speaking to the minority, for the majority, thank y’all for the kind words and for watching this series!

For the half moa target it would be a lot more interesting if instead of just one random shot at the target the shooter can take however many shots they have left at the half moa. So if they impacted the 1 moa target in 5 shots, they get 5 shots at the half moa target. If they impacted the 1moa target in 9 shots, they get one shot, or if they impacted the 1moa on their second shot they get 8 shots at the half moa.
I think this would make it a whole lot more interesting. Especially considering the amount of wind ya'll have to deal with, just seems like this would be more interesting.

I think the idea of testing the effectiveness of the shooter to have repeatability on another target with identical dope in rapid succession. It's an incredibly effective verification of the accuracy of the shooter in the precision of the platform.

Thank you for showing the second try of the young man with the GA rifle. S%!* Happens! SO glad he connected, and I'm sure he will come back. I cheer when the shooters hit the 10", louder for the 5". And I salute those that miss, but still try! So easy to shoot like a cold blooded no feelings all business B4 Sniper from the comfort of Ft. Living Room, or the USS Computer Desk! Totally different story when trying to get steel on target from the prone, especially when your not 100% sure of the distance and the winds are 12-20MPH.
I would like to hear what they did to prep, what apps and devices they are using, whats the elevation dial, wind hold. Just a little more detail please. But again, a super series that takes long range shooting to such a professional and genuine engagement level!

Love watching these. The more I watch the more it seems caliber really doesn’t matter. I’m sure on some sure enough 25-35 mph gusts a 375 shooting lathe turned solids would be dramatically easier than say a 308 shooting 175 SMK’s. Know your gun, know your load, and get experience reading the conditions.

So I didn't mishear him then, I swore I heard him say he switched ammo half way through as well. Even if I could "afford" the M200, it's just overhyped at this point. Between Brandon and this guy's M200s being all over the place I think I'm good. Don't even get me started on Brandon's .375 breaking and that CT-10 he was testing being minute of barn at 100 yards.

Long range shooting is a challenge and skill for sure, the only way to master it, is practice practice practice, and I am not preaching to anyone, it's all about down range time and knowing your rifle and the conditions at the range. Thank you Texas Plinking for the videos! 🤙

    Cool video!
Some people don't realize how accurate shooters/riles/handloads can be at 1,000yards.
I was at state F class match last year which was a LR 1,000 yards match where we pulled targets. A fantastic shooter on opposite relay shot 5 X's in a row (X is 5" at 1,000) while I was pulling his target. The spotting disc is like 2.5" and he hit 5X in a row. After match was done, I grabbed it and gave it to him with the 5 holes in it. Still have a pic somewhere on my computer. Amazing shooting!

The intervention guy was murdering $20 bills. Every shot was going right, grab the elevation knob? Really? He would have been alright if he grabbed the windage know, clicked it 3-4 clicks, he would be fine. You don't have to kill it, just hit it. The dasher guy's rifle is identical to gavin's rifle, I'd be surprised if it wasn't his rifle. Too rare of a custom to not be his.

M200 intervention, one of the most expensive rifles to shoot-can’t hit at 1000. Goes to show folks caliber isn’t everything. Training is everything. Spend less on the rifle and a high cost bullet, get something you can shoot a lot of and a decent rifle. 6.5-6mm and practice practice. 10 rounds of 408 cost about as much as 100 rounds of something affordable.

@neonwhitea.1548 well, imo, when someone buys cheytac, they typically have some understanding of how to shoot a sniper rifle. I was just surprised what a horrible grouping was producing that shooter rifle combo. Either dude had super ego and without any knowledge dumped a fortune on a rifle, or that rifle and optics were not performing as advertised. Or both. Anyway, the longer I watch actual videos of m200 shooting, the more I become skeptical about it.
