- A 2016 Yamaha FJR 1300 takes to the dyno this time fitted with some Akrapovic end cans and running lean, this touring bike was in need of one of our custom remaps. The complaints were the usual, at low speeds its lumpy and snatch as well as not being very good in traffic.

Those FJRs are starting to grow on me. And Yamaha sells them still in the USA!
I have an 06, I like it.
I have a 2008 model with 30k miles on it. Best machine I've ever owned. It's very comfortable, reliable and fast. The only thing I've ever had to do was change the oil, battery and every other year, the rear tire needs to be replaced. This motorcycle goes through the rear tire quickly if you like to use the hp. You'll really start to use the power at 5k rpm.

Can you tell much of a difference after the tune up and what does this do to the fuel economy?
You will definitely notice the difference after the tune. MPG is not really affected.
