My er9 groups have narrow wide pulleys too. I'm not sure why it matters there though. I installed 4, riding one. Very pleased. I like the option to do 10-11-12s in app, makes it super versatile in terms of cassette choices , I like the gear protection option to prevent cross chaining (the last 2 cogs don't shift unless you're on the right ring), and the individual gear adjustment means you can dial in any cassette you have. I have the version with springs in the battery, not tabs, so the groups don't randomly die while riding. And the brakes brake :D
The shifters are wireless. The battery is connected to the fd and rd with wires. On eRX battery, there are two ports for cables. I assume eRX and eGR use the same battery
Looks good, but 11-46 on a 1x seems a bit limited for todays gearing where eagle is king. The same with the road versions, 11-32 is not that of a big range nowadays, both 105 Di2 as SRAMs offering go up to 36. Curious to know if it’s just cautious spec, or it really does not take anything bigger.
I'm just about to start building a frame for my son for next year's CX. The LTWOO eGR would be a good option. It'd be great if you could program the buttons with either Shimano or SRAM setup.
Please do the weight comparison vs the ERX? Also Please see if it works fine with like a 11-30. I'm hoping it is cheaper then ERX/9 and close to the same weight.
11-46 Has got to be a mistake, for a start that cassette does NOT exist in a 12 speed to my knowledge, nor does it exist in a 10 or 9 tooth with MS or XDR drivers that would leave 11-36 (105 Di2 compatible) as the only 12 speed option. And the promo video clearly shows them running Z-Race/Zitto 12 speed 11-50.
11-46 is what I was told by LTWOO, but I have a 12 speed 11-50, so I'll def be testing that as soon as I get it on the bike, because I agree, 11-46 does sound like a mistake... Time will tell
@@TraceVelo It's not just what they told you it's all over their press releases as well, If as I suspect its a mistake it could really hurt their sales.
