      @@pc-heroes Why would anyone use a 670p in 2023. Unless that is literally the only nvme drive you can find, it's not that fast, it's relatively old, and at least in north america it's not the cheapest nvme drive. It's actually more expensive than faster drives now.

    Ima be honest if you dont mind using an intel arc and it services your needs you should definitely support it, why? Because it makes the market more competitive and lowers overall GPU prices

      For what it can do, it's a very good cost to value card and Intel has shown so far that they are fully committed to supporting and refining the next generation of their ARC cards.

    I know Intel doesn’t make every single part for a good gaming pc, but Austin needs to specify that it’s pretty much GPU and CPU that’s Intel

    Take note that Austin hasn't even used the Arc A770. It would be nice to see the comparison between the A750 and A770 especially with months of driver improvement.

      They're located in 19 states in the country. All the way from California to Texas to Florida to Pennsylvania and to Minnesota and much more. So they're not even relegated to a certain region of the U.S

    I had planned to go to their grand opening when it was set for June 23rd, then they changed the date out of nowhere and didn't notify anybody so I used up a whole vacation day and didn't even get to go to Micro Center. Was pretty disappointed.

    I missed a bit of comparison vs at least one other 250 usd card. Of course its good enough on its own but is it really worth it compared to 250 usd AMD/Nvidia equivalent?

      There is no AMD or Nvidia alternative the alternative is 300+usd and only 2-10% faster. And the Intel card has better encoding for content creation/streaming. Fantastic card for 250

      ​​@@smokerpc5910Arc doesn't have a problem on features, stability is obviously not as good, but Intel hasn't made a serious graphics card since decades ago.
      In fact, Arc when it was launched looked richer than AMD's RDNA2 architecture and almost matching similar NVIDIA cards. That is amazing for a 1st gen product.

      The software stuff has been fixed by now, only improving perfomance and game compability.

      There are no intel ssd anymore. Intel sold off their ssd division in 2021. It's solidigm now.

      The Kingston NV2 SSD almost a year ago was extremely cheap, i bought many of them. Better price/capacity/speed than SATA III.

      The i7-12700K can drive an RTX 3080Ti and 4070 Ti as the max (1080p).

    MSAA is super taxing in GTA5. Everyone practically plays using FXAA and I would've hoped for a benchmark with it.

    That's cool and all, but talking about price over MSRP for a CPU that's been discontinued isn't the brightest idea, since it's obviously overpriced.
    Don't get me wrong, it's still a good deal(even though I don't like the motherboard), with 60 bucks more you can upgrade it directly to 32gb
    But the 12700k isn't a CPU I'd buy new, unless you'd find a deal like this.
    Also 12700k and then a750 seems a bit unbalanced to me, but ok, could have gone with the a770, the 16gb was only 100 bucks more at micro center

      This is my current build i7-12700k with a770 w/16gb combo. A770 has only gotten better over time with driver updates. Curious to see what a 2nd gen Intel Arc will bring.

    People complaining about Austin not using Optane when the consumer lineup has been dead for at least more than a year or two. (New models are for data centers and based on 3D Xpoint)
    Also, Intel doesn't make RAM. They do make motherboards though. So maybe we shouldn't be complaining.

    Do the usuals GPU, CZpU, Motherboard
    But you can go further
    My all Intel rig
    Intel Core i3 10105 CPU
    Intel Arc A380 Asrock Challenger 6GB VRAM GTX
    Intel 2 TB 670 PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSD
    Intel Killer WiFi 6E Network Adapter
    Killer E3100 USB C Ethernet Adapter to achieve Double Shot Pro
    The E3100 USB C Adapter is not Intel branded it was produced by Rivet Networks right before Intel bought them. But it’s pretty much Intel
    This harkens back to my last budget gaming PC which was all AMD except the networking
    I had AMD FX 8350 8 Core CPU
    AMD Radeon R9 270X
    AMD Radeon Gamer Deries 16 GB (4X4GB) RAM
    AMD Radeon R7 SATA III SSD 5x120Gb in Raid 0
    With an Asrock 990FX Killer Motherboard
    Killer all the way
    I’ve had Killer products since the OG PCI M1 Network card
    I still have all the Rigs with them in it too

    I just built an all Intel build with a 12900K/ Predator Bifrost A770 rig for the fun of it. Primarily for editing which it is excellent at with 64GB DDR5 6000 memory. It'll get a 4090 something soon, but I was curious. Can't say I'm unhappy. Intel seems to be making a genuine effort.

    Doesn't matter what you say... I'm never going back to Intel. The only reason why I have Intel laptops, a one with ryzen 9, is that, amd didn't made amd laptops back when I was buying them. Also I was a razer freak. Regret it until today
